It’s remarkable we’ve been able to get the DL talent we have gotten both through recruiting and the portal with the amount of turnover. We need someone in place for multiple years to build these relationships. It’s not much more complicated than that. We aren’t actively not recruiting DTs.
My point us it's about way more than a dl coach. Most of the times these kids are way closer to a recruiting guy a la jordan arcement than they are a dl coach.

No. In the NIL era this stuff gets out bc the coaching staffs communicate directly with the guys donating. Then those guys go tell everybody which is where I heard it. Thats why you see a lot more recruiting guys from different schools talking to the recruiting guys from other schools. They actually try to get their info right now because they cant just make shite up anymore. Too many people actually know whats going on now.

They're both gonna have to hire new coaches after they get into the SEC. They could be in the woods for a while. OU will get it fixed eventually. Texas will do exactly what A&M did, pay some coach obscene money just to keep sucking.

Manning wasn't the #1 recruit in LA last year. That still blows my mind and how much recruiting services whiffed on that kid. He's nowhere near a top end talent with a 100 rating. Absolutely ridiculous.

So you’re gonna revert to saying McKinley isn’t a good prospect now and is overrated because he might choose Texas that’s the dumbest shite right there.

Lol if you think Brandon Harris is a better recruiter than Frank Wilson. Brandon Harris doesn’t have to do shite with the resources they have. They’ll get a bunch of top players who will get paid a boatload of money regardless of their contribution and will implode just like their little brother A&M. The highest paid player on their team is an overrated 3rd team qb. Let’s see how this works out.

Word I hear is decision day is likely 1 Sept, not sure why but that is their game night against LCA, I'll be attending game with his Dad so hopefully Tigers get good news. He has not shared any updates either good or bad on any schools on his list. He has a great poker face

I’m sorry but you don’t need Brandon Harris if you’re just offering substantially more money than the other team. You or I could do that and do a great job too. I’m sure he does a great job, seems like a great guy and I thank him for his blood sweat and tears playing here. But you’re lying to yourself if you think Brandon Harris is the reason they’re going there. It’s the money. And good for them.

I’m not saying he is the reason all I’m saying is since Brandon Harris has been in Texas you hear recruits rave about him just like they do our behind the scenes recruited ala acrement, and the one we lost to a&m name examples me right now oh mason smith, which I wish we would get back as well we can never have enough of these guys is my point.

Our director of recruiting is very good too. Who are you going to let go to make room? I doubt Brandon comes back for anything less than director of recruiting.

Hank South doesn’t know the exact truth, right now. I believe LSU will make Simmons, and McKinley, the focal point, of this class. The LSU brand is hot. I truly believe both want to be Tigers.

Who gives a shite about Brandon Harris? According to the rankings they don’t have a single commit from any of the top 25 players in Texas. They’re sitting at 20th in the On3 team rankings…that’s pretty embarrassing giving the resources they have in Austin. Tell me again why he’s such a good recruiter?
