6'3", 220 lbs, with track star speed, with defensive experience.
Someone please teach this man how to play linebacker because if those measurables don't scream potential then I don't know what does

If I remember correctly multi sport athletes on scholarship that play football have to count towards the football teams allotment. I think this is an old rule put in place because of certain schools abused the system this way

If he's going to keep running track, he won't be able to put on the weight to move to linebacker, especially not in a 3-4.

yeah. that lost me as well
didn't lose me, while we have plenty numbers and youth at receiver, we are lacking anyone who has proven to be top quality at receiver. We don't have anyone in the Landry/OBJ level or even the Wright/Boone level at this time.

I think the Killer D's could have been firmly established as that if they had a consistent passer throwing to them.

Sweet !!!
TCU is DBU west..."deficit"? Our new DB can already speak like Les.

I don't know what he's thinking, but I bet I can guess what the coaches are. We lose most of our linebackers this year, and they are the most versatile special teams players. In 2016 we will not want to risk our linebackers on special teams because of our depth problems.
This guy will probably be redshirted in 2015, and he'll be counted on to play special teams in 2016. He has the size and speed you're looking for.

Did he play last year at TCU on that stout defense?
Still anxious to know if any other transfers want to come.

How can anyone have possibly developed in the one post-Landry/Beckham season with that offense?

Think that has more to do with a QB who had a 48% completion percentage and only threw for 1600yds and 11Tds for the season

I assume he's paying his own way.

Big enough to play OLB.

So is he eligible right away or does he have to sit?

He's on schollie for track, right?

Can he play LB
First thing I said when I saw 6'3, 231...and with hurdler speed, yeah I'd immediately make the switch.

And honestly with the WRs that we've signed the last 2 years, how much will Upchurch play? He might be worth a look at LB too.
