Remember how the coaches couldn't keep Malik off the field as a freshman? I have a strong suspicion the same thing is going to happen with Taron.

Feel the same as well I know the talent we brought but this kid has a flat out alpha mentality and has the size to play right away. His YAC ability and ability to track the ball in the air will make it hard to keep him off the field

Woah! Somebody paid attention to him finally. I've been praising this kid for over a year for the way he plays, his build, and how he carries himself. We didn't hear one piece of drama with him nor Berry. They are diehard LSU.

Don't like the on3 change.

Hope you do. Always like your stuff.

the vid of taron crying at his signing day showed jus how much being a tiger means to that kid.Lousiana kids who are talented and bleed purple and gold more often than not end up stars. Like you said him and berry bleed purple and gold throughout their whole recruitment even with Texas making a late push at berry he stood tall with us.

Physically he reminds me of Jarvis. I hope he has Landry's hands. JL was a great over the middle star. I hope TF is, too.

Been saying this for a long time. He just makes it look different on the field.

Agreed he is at least 2 inches taller and 20+ lbs bigger than Jarvis heading into college. He seems to have better speed as well, that being said, Jarvis was extremely physical.

Jarvis had great body control
Great (huge)hands
Great short area quickness
Poor long speed / explosion
5’11” 203

The way he plays the game is just like Jarvis.

He plays angry, strong and isn’t afraid to go across the middle.

If he doesn't see the regular rotation of receivers as a true freshman, I'd love to see out of him what Jarvis did his first year on special teams.

Devonta Lee was a stud HS player that was bigger and faster than everyone he played against. Not sure you are thinking of the same guy

Yes, and he is a bigger, stronger, faster coming out of high school than Landry was. Gonna be hard to have better hands than Landry though.
