Well if that’s what happened then the coach is an a-hole and needs to grow up
All Coach Kelly can do is recruit him and let him know he’s wanted if they do want him. They can’t do anything about the old staff and who/how they recruited anyone.
As far as instate kids go, nobody is gonna make believe otherwise than this: if the kid grows up loving lsu and the family wants him at lsu and that’s where he really wants to be then a coaching change where a new guy comes in and tries to recruit him even though he hasn’t known the kid as long as other coaches shouldn’t keep the kid from coming to LSU.
Either the kid really wants to be at lsu or he doesn’t. Now if the kid didn’t grow up rooting for lsu and has no emotional investment that’s a different story. But that’s not what’s being sold in this tale, so whatever.
Coach Kelly will do his part on all Louisiana prospects that are capable of helping lsu I’m sure
Sometimes kids just want to go away for college and that’s ok, but if that’s the case, be a man and say it. Don’t play the “they didn’t kiss my arse enough” card

You got receipts or pictures of all these visits particularly Paul Chryst? If Chryst comes a 2nd time that would be what the NCAA calls a violation. That and the amount of visits. There are limits and I'd say 5 with a 6th on the way would be close if not over the amount allowed particularly a kid a year out. Rules may have changed but I'm pretty sure the HC can't even talk to the kid aside from hello/goodbye.(the Saban rule) We've got a rules guy that posts that would know the particulars of the rules.
Not picking on you personally as many here post about all these visits other schools make to see kids(usually to point out that LSU is dropping the ball) and it's almost unanimously bullshite.
