Another thing that is off as well the kid has nothing against LSU. Family has season tickets to LSU, and brothers go to school there.
It all goes back to O the terrible lockeroom culture and way they’ve recruited him.
It’s a new staff but they are far behind other schools.

Here comes every Many poster to tell you how LSU isn’t giving him enough attention, should’ve offered him in the 8th grade and should be living on his doorstep but the kid doesn’t feel like he needs to go to LSU and is going to pick whichever school he wants.
It’s in the water around the area. Just like the coach, you gotta make Many folks feel like they are important even when they aren’t. LSU hasn’t signed a kid out of the area in 2 decades and will be fine without Tackett. He could go vanish in Madison with those coaches that are showing him so much attention.

They currently have two top 5 players in 2023 and 2024 class. You must be Coach O or Coach Baker. Lol
And trust me he wont disappear wherever he goes. Especially if the Wisconsin and their number one defense snags him.

Truly sad that Orgeron ignored so many instate kids. Hopefully LSU can refocus on Louisiana first under Coach Kelly.

Ok, so Tackett and his family is holding a grudge against the new staff, putting them “far behind”? All due to the past staff’s incompetence? The family has LSU season tickets but has an ax to grind with LSU? That may be the dumbest shite I heard this offseason. Hard pass, another Many drama Queen. I don’t think revenge is a great strategy to get your kids noticed.

Kelly will be focusing on Louisiana 100 percent as the priority in recruiting.

and yea, University of Wisconsin is the Mecca of college football right?
Name the P5 talent that has come from Many La in the last 20 years. Curtis and Singleton are the first 2 since who? Myron Warren is the best player that I can think of and he’s got 3 tackles in 3 seasons. LSU sure is missing out….

Holding a grudge towards the new staff, but Ohio State, a school located 14 hours away jumps right into the top of his list because they got a new DC who offered him immediately… Never mind that the rest of the staff that’s never even bothered to recruit him before, they get a pass because of a new DC. Exactly, Many was known for girls basketball until they split the public and private schools. They win a state championship and next thing you know they’re West Monroe. If a kid in LA is good we need to find him no matter where he plays. Let’s just not pretend that Many been pumping out D1 talent and LSU is screwing them over. It’s just silly.

The bad part about it is LSU probably would recruit the school harder if the HC didn’t want to be treated like he was running IMG West. I don’t blame a coach making 9.5m a year to tell a 2A football coach to piss off when he’s told he should be in his back pocket to recruit his FCS players. If Jess Curtis wants LSU to recruit his program, he should do what every other coach does and hustle to get his kids a offer.
