Devery was a HS running back and recruited as such by Dinardo. Saban and Fisher converted him to WR. He was bigger and stonger than Sylve coming out of OHS.

I agree somehow he looks not just short, but tiny and slow since he committed to the Tide. He should have committed to LSU so he could have kept his blazing speed.

Who in this topic has said he's lost it? We are comparing him to Henderson and Xavier Carter, one was a speedy receiver with bad hands and the other is a world class sprinter.

Even on that kickoff return, he didn't show the speed he used to have. He had elite speed, but with his two injuries, he's lost some of it. By all means, he still has blazing speed, but he's going to have to get the concrete off his hands
