We didn’t miss, we turned him down. I trust a National title coaching staff more than you. Doesn’t matter if he just made a good play in a meaningless game or not.

Well Butch committed to us which is why they dropped Bryant... didn’t work out that way in the end

Odds are in 2020, LSU was never even in the hunt for a QB at that level. Hopefully, it happens in 2021.

Bryant loyally stuck by his word.
I’ve followed recruiting for 15 years and been a fan of LSU football for 26 years. No one and no institution is perfect. The staff did him wrong.

I think you're mistaking Alec Bryant DE for a QB, maybe Bryce Young?

Comment that LSU turned down Bryant because we already had Finley and Johnson. Doubt LSU was even in the hunt for the 2020 class with a 5 star QB. Next year will hopefully be different.

Was talking about the staff turning down Alec Bryant... looks like my biggest fan on the recruiting board has returned. Looks like OP was referencing the WR in the Army game anyways. Thanks for keeping up Fatboy, always good to see you on here.
