spots most needed to be filled?

I'm not really seeing any gaps or weaknesses with the 2020 setup. Maybe RB. Still looks pretty stacked.
What are the spots we can still improve?

As QB goes so does the team. If MB is good we are good.

It looks like the staff certainly would like another RB and that will be addressed. They are still looking at OL, DL, WR and S. With McGlothern and another RB, you have 4 spots left. If you leave one for the transfer portal, then only three. DL will probably depend on what Jackson decides and maybe Burch. OL, depends on grades with Crawford and CamRon. WR and safety might depend on what goes on with the linemen.

We have two. Your comment is stupid.

We need a RB. Not that they’ll play this year, but we could use the depth cuz 3 scholarship backs is a bit worrisome, especially if one transfers. Besides that I’d like to build some depth in the trenches and secondary

It's gonna be interesting. Most of the guys on the board are grade risks.
RB will be filled and is probably the biggest need. Looks like Bradford but no one would surprise me.
WR I'd like to fill but the top option, while a talented one, is a grade risk. Trust the staff and hope we see another guy or 2 on the radar.
OL looks like 2 guys both grade related. Crawford is in as long as his academics are up to par. Jackson is in if eligible or will grayshirt if the spot is needed.
Don't know of any other options at this point.
DL looks like Jackson or bust and hoping a miracle shines from the heavens and whoever the holdup is on Burch's end comes around. Wish we would've tried for the Collins kid sooner and harder.
DB is a complete unknown at this point. Hopefully 5ue new staff gets hired quickly and some names emerge. Otherwise I'm good with a RB, taking a chance on Crawford and taking a shot at Jackson. Wait out anyone else and save whatever spots are open. Use them on transfers or next year. Kind of blah finish but I love what we've got and we may need some stopgaps from the transfer market.

RB, OL, S, WR, grad transfer if the coaches see any pressing holes for next season.
The 4 positions listed above are only for depth and the future. We have a lot of safeties graduating after this upcoming season.

Hopefully the staff is looking for a grad transfer C. Losing Cush is a pretty big blow w/ no true C backup. Hines is a G trying to learn the position and Turner is too small to handle SEC NT’s.
This would also make us even deeper at G, w/ Hines, Ingram & K. Thomas competing for the 2 spots. It was so nice to be able to rotate 3 guards like we did in 19.

Rumors pointing to Devonta Lee moving to defense, takes a receiver out of the room but adds a safety? Or lb'er? Might effect who they add to this cycle

Recruiting is rarely about filling needs for the next season. It’s about filling needs for three years from now. So don’t look at the roster for recruiting needs; look at the list of committed recruits.

RB, OL, DL, S.
The last spot go WR/transfer (when available)/ hold for an extra WR in next yrs class.

19 signed + McGlothern and Johnson (assuming he qualifies) to make 21. So IMO, I'm filling 4 spots. I say McKinley Jackson DL, K Bradford RB, Crawford/Jackson whichever looks the better chance of qualifying (I hope it's Crawford since he is huge and an OT), and A Adams the WR (don't know his qualification status). That would add even more prestige to the class and fill out some needed positions even more (DL, RB, OL, WR).

Devonta Lee impresses me as very strong and tough as nails. I believe he is a guy who can be great as an offensive or defensive player before he graduates or leaves LSU early.

I love this class. Another OL is my biggest want to finish. We have some good ones coming in but would like to add another. OL is one of the hardest to project so add to it hoping another guy becomes a stud down the road like Cush did.
RB is a close second because we only have 3 on the team. We had a great haul last year and whoever we add at this point may not get a ton of pt unless injuries. This will definitely be a recruiting priority next year.
Safety. Only 1 so far.

We need a LB. with Queen, Phillips, Chaisson, and Divinity gone. This is our most thin position group by far. We do NOT need another DL with the load that we have signed and with 72, 97, and 92 coming back (all 3 could have declared). Bradford should be the RB, and Crawford an OT.

I’d be interested in a JUCO LB although the last one we got hasn’t paid off yet. No remaining recruits can step in immediately though.
