Ole Miss with 4 Dline committed possibly 5.
Meanwhile LSU biggest need is Dline, more so DT’s , how many do they have committed at the moment?

Mind boggling. When you are getting outrecruited on the d line by Ole miss, you have problems.

I do believe in kelly to fire house along with some other coaches and fix the problem.

He would pick lsu over usc.

I don't see him taking that job anyway.

Kelly ran him off?

It was ultimately Kelly's call. House thought he couldn't coach a lick (ironic), so BK told him to look around.

That's why he left in the middle of spring. They weren't going to fire him.

Curious why you think that’s the case?

Dave is from California. I believe his wife is from there as well. Your statement makes no sense.

Why would he automatically pick LSU when he's from the West?

I don’t think Aranda is too interested in working for Lincoln Riley. Riley is the reason he’s never had a good defenss, not Alex Grinch.

I could be wrong, but I think at this point, being DC under Riley is career suicide

He loved it here. Easier on his family. Don't see him coaching under riley.

At the time it did feel weird. The timing and just how it went down.

Kelly has whiffed on almost all his defensive hires.

You see how much Lane complains about NIL? That is him telling his boosters to pony up. He also almost left Ole Miss for Auburn/ part of reason he stayed was due to promises to better fund their NIL. Line of scrimmage recruiting is a lot about the dollars. Texas hadnt had any linemen drafted for years and look at all the guys they are reeling in now. Lane has got great NIL deals for these d linemen. Simple as that. He has even stated recruits go to highest bidder now. Kelly better start telling Scott he needs more money to compete or get used to below average defense.

Not saying we get Aranda but I will say coaching defense under Riley is a death sentence, doubt he goes there and he doesnt seem like a (in the city) L.A. guy at all. He grew up in San Bernadino a bit outside L.A.

Plus the amount of traveling he would have to do being in the Big Ten at USC has to look exhausting

Wow, if this is true Kelly has dug himself a hole that may take years to get out of. Lack of recruiting, lack of player development and lack of coaching on defense.

Golding is light years ahead of what we have currently.
