Maybe. They are gonna have to land big towards the end with the tossups left in the board. OSU and Bama are guaranteed. The next 3 are highly dependent on total numbers(Clemson), who lands the tossup prospects(LSU, Oklahoma, UGA) and if the west coast teams can continue momentum(Oregon, USC). Then you could always have a surge with teams like TAM, Texas, Auburn, ND. Then rankings bumps for schools like UF and Miami.
Imo 5 schools will battle it out for the final 3 spots. LSU, Clemson, UGA, Oklahoma and TAM. The loss of season really hurts USC and Oregon, particularly USC who couldve exploded with a really good season.

Heard a recruiting guy on Sirius XM yesterday saying Ou is on pace for their best class ever. Not to mention their best defensive class. He expects them to finish number 1 when it’s said and done.
I don’t get it. Why would they be pulling all these stud DEs and DBs?
They play in a pencil dick conference and have never played any good defense.

They expected to finish #1 at the end of last season too, until they got into the CFP and reality set in.
