Rodney has already been offered. It’s his only offer. We should not waste a scholarship on him. Screw Ish if the only way we get him is a package deal. Especially since he is not signing until February

I think that would be a good thing to put in there with this package deal. You have to sign early for your brothers spot to be guaranteed. Otherwise you still leave an open spot for Ish until the end but you fill the spot you would have held for his brother of the opportunity comes. That way, if Bama decides they don’t want Ish in the end (and they’ve done it before to recruits) he can still sign with LSU without his brother.

Probably not, but you never know. Things happen.
That wasn’t really the point of the post. The point was that if you are going to offer a “package deal” it wouldn’t be a bad idea to require him to go ahead and sign as part of that package.

I thought the brother isn't going to qualify? If that's the case and we still offer that's the dumbest deal of all time. Much too desperate IMO. Offer Sopsher and tell him his path here is much more clear to the field and we offer exactly what Bama does if we only get the big prospects like him to come to school at LSU.

You do understand that if Rodney doesn’t qualify he can’t get a scholarship. So offering him isn’t actually dumb. But it is dumb that they let Ish bully them into letting his brother come warm the bench
