So we basically traded JoJo Earle for BTJ

Not deliberately of course, but that’s how it worked out. I know Thomas is a different type player, but I don’t see us taking both of them, and Alabama would have an open slot for a WR.
Will be interesting to see who has the better career.
Considering the shite year, this class is ridiculous.

Honestly we needed BTJ’s height more than JoJo’s explosiveness. We have plenty of other options to replace JoJo. Can’t replace BTJ’s size.

Very, very strong.
Lets add a couple OL if we can and it'll be one of our best ever.
I think next year with Walker Howard and that OL class will be the bedrock for a very elite run as well.

In a perfect world we would have gotten both. Earle was my favorite offensive player in this class. Boutte is our man until he goes pro so we gotta get another explosive guy in the next class to follow him up

1 OL and 1 LB, or 2 LBs in this cycle. Next cycle, we'll need to use the portal for 1-2 OL and hit on the big fish OL in state.

Plus we have Hilton and Nabers to fill Earle’s role. We didn’t have anyone in BTJ’s mold.

Yep! Between the 3 LBs from Tenn and Jones from Clemson, I’d be happy with just one of them.

Aaron Anderson is that explosive guy for 2022. He is blazing fast and yoked up too, and a verbal commit.

Would have loved to have him but I’m not sure how unique his skill set would be on our roster. We don’t have a guy like BTJ on the team. I think we have some wr talent that is comparable and we signed two really good elusive running backs that will catch passes out of the backfield and be super dangerous in space. We will be fine.

at the end of the day that's all you can do. Some people salty that Jojo spurned LSU the day of for Bama and it shows.

Sounds like we got a guy that can fill Terrace Marshall's role while Bama got somebody to fill Waddle's.
