What does Sean do for a living?
I wonder how much he makes off of free tickets to college games from the kids he reps.

The pellm guy defending him on TigerBait must be the Matthew Pellegrin that posted on Nelson's facebook when he mentioned Lorio, Evans, etc.

LSU fan?
- "I got Auburn car flags for sell. Holla at me if u want one."
- "I don't frick with them (LSU). My son at Auburn."
- "We bout to convert the whole city to Auburn fans."
No, I don't think so.
Big-time Christian guy?
- "Please beat the hell out of bama."
- "war muthafricking eagle."
Negative on that as well.
Not to mention this guy is an academic mentor and has the grammar of a 5 year old. It also seems to me a Christian guy would at least a guy's family before he took him off to Auburn to visit there.
It's one thing if this guy is friends with these guys and he's steering them to Auburn. That's what fans/boosters of schools do. If I have a son that's good enough to play at LSU, I'm gonna do everything in my power to make sure he goes there. It's a whole nother thing to cover yourself up behind a "non-profit" organization blanket and pretend like your not doing that.
I can't prove that the dude is getting paid to send these kids to Auburn, but it's pretty damn obvious he's not an LSU fan, so he can drop that bullshite. As a matter of fact, it's pretty obvious he's anti-LSU, no matter how many LSU sweatshirts he has.

dont shoot me just the messenger here with some intel
Got a friend who works in AU atheletics and he told me they haven't seen one letter come through about recruiting investigations or whatever. Also said that Cam is probably coming back next year, but after the excitement of the MNC wears off he might leave

I would think with today's technology, the NCAA would fax or email, or even just show up if this type of stuff happens. JMO

Well he works in the communication department at Auburn

Yeah, good luck trying to convert the whole city of Thibodaux to Auburn fans. I couldn't name one Auburn fan in Thibodaux.
ETA: And I'm from Thibodaux.

this whole thread is golden, Egg, you need to edit the OP to include the links from memphis and the info from the TB boards to help those of us too slow to follow the 7 pages so far

Yeah, those letters went straight to the "all in" inbox.

From the comments thread:
quote:
It was a pretty ignorant comment. Anybody with a decent college education knows that Christianity is a complicated mix of theological, scriptural, and cultural beliefs and practices. Lots of things are not in the Bible; that doesn’t mean that they those things are not Christian. It depends on the context and the sorts of beliefs that are being discussed. African American Christians in the South tend to take a bit more relaxed attitude to rough language than most Southern Baptists, but rarely do you hear them speak of muthafrickahs in a public forum.

Thanks for the links.........

I'll say this much: given what they have done and are attempting to continue doing, Auburn had better be as clean and as pure as the Virgin Mary, and failing that as smart as Stephen Hawking to cover their transgressions. I'm betting they are neither.
Amen!

Egg, there are no more PLOI's. Only LOI's that summarize and question findings to date. The way this thing is going, I would not expect LOI until mid-late spring at the earliest. Feds are going to need to get out of the way before anything really gets cranked up NCAA wise.
Investigation is underway, but not in full swing, yet.
