Everything is different now. Max lifts, times, etc. Everything has improved drastically. None of the recruiting site are up to date. As for goal weight, he doesn't have one. He's 6'4" 277 right now (he's been measured everywhere from 6'2.5" to 6'4.5". Each measurement is not consistant. We know he's 6'4"). He is gonna gain weight, but the right way. Not looking to throw on a bunch of bad weight just to say he's 300+ pounds!

BTW I love that Uhigh has finally started to recruit kids, or at least started to pull some strings to get guys admitted. Just wish they had done that for us when I was in high school. We had a good baseball team ('08,'09) and had kids that wanted to come but none were ever able to get admitted.

Found this video of him running in a track meet at LSU a few weeks ago.

LINK

I know he's just a JR high kid but he looks like a grown man.

You think that recruiting for high school football is good? Uhigh's football team may be getting better, but the quality of the school will continue to get worse if they keep recruiting like they are right now. Most (there are a few exceptions, like Garrett B) of the recruits are not smart at all and get passed just because they are good at football.

I'm not there anymore, so it doesn't matter, but I really didn't like the whole football recruiting thing. Getting a few guys is no big deal, but the amount of guys Uhigh is bringing in just to play football is ridiculous.

Link or GTFO. Actually, just GTFO. This is the LSU Recruiting board.

I think I would know since I went to school with them everyday... and I'm an LSU fan too, so I think I'm going to stay on this board.

It's not like they're clearing house for an entire football team. You can always turn the table too. Do you think the quality of education these "recruited" kids are getting at Uhigh is better than the public schools they would be at otherwise? I think yes. Plus I'm not buying that these kids pass classes only because they are good at football. I had friends that had to work their asses off to play sports and that was their only motivation to do well in school.
FWIW I don't necessarily promote recruiting in high school but I do wish Uhigh would have pulled some strings to get the qualified athletes in that wanted to come when I was there.

Off topic here so back to this kid Moses. He's seems like a beast and can't imagine what this kid is going to look like in 4 years. Also, I've followed Brossette for some time now but is he fast enough to play RB in college/LSU?

To be fair, the schools in their district are doing the same as well. I don't think quite to the same degree as U High, but Dunham and Episcopal are getting a few kids as well.

Episcopal lost bridgewater though, so Uhigh definitely has a better shot at basketball this year
