For those who have seen him play. Is he "3 starred" because of stature? Is he really a 4.3 guy? How does he compare with similar guys like Amik Robertson? For old school guys, is he Shyrone Carey-ish? I'll hang up and listen.

He’s fast as hell. Put the ball in his hand and he does magic. Coached against him last year at Patterson. He’s a 4.3-4.4 guy easy

He's similar to Clyde in stature but in my opinion he's better, he's a threat to score every time he touches the ball

I’ve seen a lot of his film and if I had to sum him up in one word it would be ‘electric’

I firmly believe he is a three star due to his grades.

As far as comparisons go, the best I could think of is a young Reggie Bush. A bit smaller in stature, but can take a hit as well as give one, his acceleration is off the charts, and his speed is really amazing. As soon as you think you have the angle on him... you don't anymore. Check out the play at 1:40

Basically speaking, he is sheer athleticism.

Clyde and Pooka are both short, but they are not built alike. Clyde was 190-200 lbs in high school and is 215 now, Williams is 150-160, and will never weigh 200+.

He probably more comparable to Damaris Johnson.

He's much slimmer than CEH and some other comparisons. He's an elite athlete...maybe the best athlete in the state. Very fast and quick, he can catch. He is an all purpose back/slot wr guy. Absolutely dominates games...breaks ankles every damn game. Great in return game. He was one of Frank Wilson's top in state targets for this class...cooled off when Frank left, but pressing for him now. He can contribute right away in many ways.

His build and running style looks a lot like Tavon Austin to me. They both use that little stutter/jump step to setup cuts alot.

He is fast on the top end, but I think his acceleration impressed me more. He's full speed in 3 steps.

yea exactly. Explosive first few steps. Long speed is just ok. He's a 10.8 100m guy

Definitely see the resemblance to Tavon Austin. If he stays at rb, he's going to be a mismatch nightmare in coverage

What was the name of the slight of statute little guy ar Ole Miss a few years back? Played like he was 240 but hard to put a hand on. He was in the NFL. Baddest little man I can remember in college football.

That's a good comparison as fair as size, but pooka plays a lil faster. Don't let his size fool you either, he is one of the strongest kids on the team... lb for lb probably the strongest. Crazy thing is he would probably be one of the best receivers in the state as well if he chose to go that route.

Not even close on the Clyde comparison. Way lighter that Clyde. This kid is only playing running back because HHS has no qb to get him the ball. So they put him at rb, he is a slot wr and a kick returner, he is an unreal talent, a special player. Word is, his grades are like a 1.5 or below.
