Tulane just joined the Big East, they are on an up swing (becasue God knows they can't get any worse) so maybe that would be a good fit for him.
In all honesty, I hope he doesn't come here after the crap he pulled on signing day. He needs to stay at Texas and live with his decision. It didn't take a genious to see that LSU was still going to be very good and Texas was still rebuilding so it shouldn't shock him when he is playing for a team that is 8-4 and will be that way for another year or so, while we are competing for championships.

This guy can get lost. Seriously.
I'm fine with players choosing the college they feel is best for them, but this kid handled his situation as immaturely and unprofessionally as possible.
I'm happy he's at Texas. That place is going nowhere fast.

Wasn't this kid being played by his Coach, who is now at St Aug?
I would take him if he wanted to come to LSU. Sounds like the kid was pushed to do the less than honorable thing. Most kids that do these less than honorable things have one thing in common: bad ADULT influences.

I have no problem with kids decommitting, it is a huge decision for 4/5 years of their life and they are the ones that have to live with it especially when coaches can come and go as they please.
The only problem I have with Davis is backing out on signing day when he knew another player would have loved to have his scholarship and the lame excuse he gave for doing it.
