Over the past few weeks the trolls are on this board and on the score board. With our super success...the haters have multiplied x 10, especially from other SEC team....cough..cough..gumps

So when someone seems to speak out the side of their neck... they have a super low post count. And does not speak English... well that's the contrarian troll...

Everybody knows, who is in the know...the rest are just who they are losers...

Looking forward to a positive signing day.. and if we miss early, we won't miss late. Geaux Tigers ...win the Natty!!!

To be fair, this is a characteristic shared by almost all SEC fanbases outside of Vanderbilt.

So is the there any concern that this kid is missing playoff games because he is still trying to get a qualifying score?

This is the first I'm hearing of him missing the first half of that game.

I check in and out with recruiting, nowadays. Too much drama to try to follow daily innuendo.

I would assume so. Why else would he do it? To see if he can get his score high enough to get into Princeton?

Before anybody said anything negative about him with crazy stupid speculation about his character, people on this very board CORRECTLY told us he was taking his ACT. So not only were they assholes for no reason but they also can’t read or use the search function. I hate when The Rant overruns this Board before signing day.

Is he trying to get a qualifying score?

---------------------------------------------------------

He might just be trying to improve the number of options he could attend. I do know that Stanford doesn't take any student that passes the minimum nor does Georgia Tech. Here is a list of the top 100 Major College Football academic rankings by USNews. As one likely anticipates, the best academic schools are like the Ivy's and other private schools that certainly don't play at the highest level of football [some don't even have football programs]. Remember that the NCAA is looking at athletic admissions to elite academic institutions through a microscope with all of the FBI pursuit presently going on.

#6. Stanford [Athletic ACT floor being a 24]
#9. Northwestern ACT floor being a 28
#10. Duke ACT floor being a 27
#15. Notre Dame / Vanderbilt ND floor 24/Vandy 27
#20. UCLA
#22. CAL / USC
#25. Michigan
#27. Wake Forest
#28. Virginia
#29. Georgia Tech / UNC
#34. Florida
#46. Wisconsin
#48. Illinois / Texas
#50. Georgia
#54. Ohio State / Syracuse
#57. FSU / Penn State / Purdue / Miami / Pitt
#62. Washington
#64. Maryland
#70. Clemson / Texas A&M / Minnesota
#74. Virginia Tech
#77. BYU
#79. Baylor / Indiana
#84. Michigan State / NC State / Iowa
#97. TCU

If he doesn't sign at the early period, he may be waiting on his scores to appreciate all the options where he'd qualify [which might even include A&M].

I think I read something more in the line he’s trying to get a better score for early enrollment. Don’t shoot me because I may be wrong but I think I read something about it.

You are the one creating dissension by injecting politics into the recruiting board. No reason at all to inject CNN or Fox News topics into a football discussion.

I don’t care what side of the political debate people are on, but there’s no place for it here and I hope my post and your thread both get whacked.

You are correct. Also just because he doesn't sign tomorrow doesn't mean he can't enroll for the Jan semester. An LOI is not a requirement. Lot of talk he may wait until Jan 2 announce at UA then just enroll in school wherever he chooses. Waiting on the test score. If it doesn't work then he can just continue on until Feb. He wants to enroll early and his score isn't there yet. Who knows though. His recruitment is almost as secretive and quiet from the inside as Burch.

I'm with you guys on the Evans negative talk. People, some vets on here included, were absolutely trashing the kid in a thread last week, even before the ACT test/1st half thing. All based on him changing his announcement date, visiting TAM on a Sunday and complete heresay. That camp has never been public with details just little bits of info put out to keep people somewhat abreast. From the UGA silent, to the Bama love, LSU silent to turning towards TAM near the end, it's all been down the line info. None directly from the Evans group. No different than Burch. Perception kills.

Kid has some issues and that can’t be denied. Lots of talent but issues. I look at players like Antonio Brown & Terrell Owens and hope we don’t get a cancer. I know this might not be the case and we might be exactly what he needs but it does make me nervous! READY SET DOWNVOTE...

Look paper Tiger, people on here were talking junk about the kid's character, saying he was being disciplined by the coach...even saying "we should pass on him"

I said in that thread, hold on to your judgement, "don't speculate what you don't know for sure"... like the panelist do on CNN for ratings

I am sorry you can't accept the point I am making without trying to say I am being political...

Hey friend, I am just so tired of politics. I assume when I see someone post something derogatory about Fox they lean left and when they post something derogatory about CNN, they lean right.

So a post digging at CNN is most times a dig at those who lean left and a post digging at Fox is a mostly a dig at those who lean right.

So whether you intended your post to be political, you can see how it’ could be taken that way, right?

For whatever it’s worth my views on political postings on football boards have nothing to do with which way people lean. I actually respect that people have differing views. My response would have been no different had you made a dig at Fox News. I am just so freaking tired of political division and don’t want to see it migrate into my football.

I understand your position and your point is well taken...Perhaps I should have used another analogy to make the point about speculating without confirmed, undisputed facts.

Recruits read the board as do their family members...

even if a mistake were made, we should be careful what we say about players
