Yes. Could it have been better? Of course. But we might still add a player or 3 by February

Yes!

Imagine this class without some of these aTm steals....

Reliford was huge, add in Gilbert at Safety...

I'm thrilled with everything going on, Echols tomorrow, Bussey and McKinley in February....

It’s a solid class. It’s not our greatest class ever by any means but people acting like we have always recruited in the top 5 every year are delusional. We’ve always had years where we recruited around 10th then we usually follow up with a top 3 class the following year. It was a down year for Louisiana recruits and yeah, there are a few spots we probably should have done better at (defensive linemen and backs) but I believe that is going to work itself out after this year.

100% truth. This class is solid considering the defensive play struggles and staff issues and the overall down year in LA. But the staff focusing on the state now should solidify the relationships that Kelly and co needed to build to hold it in the future as things pick right back up.

People seem to have forgotten that one of the foundational classes of the 2019 team was ranked 10-15, but it was followed with valuable transfers and a great class the next year. And right now, 25 is trending toward being exactly that kind of class.

Yes. Getting in guys for a longer than 1 year stint is critical to building a foundation.

Yes. LSU not only has a need for talent, but for numbers. They have done both the last two seasons, and as kelly describes, have built the roster base with freshman. Everyone wants to jump steps, but in the end this is a sound process & what needed to happen coming out of the O-era.

25’ class should be a nice icing to really get the Kelly era snowballin’

It’s not even worth debating anyone who can’t comprehend what Kelly has done since he’s been here, especially considering what was left in the cupboard. People want instant gratification and number #1 classes, but the truth is the future is bright.

Did Walter Nolan find a landing spot yet? If we could somehow add him, this class would be GREAT.

It’s year 3 so I hoped for better but I’m okay with it.
I would like to see us attract more top kids from out of state.

We still have some needs.

There is going to be drop off in offensive production so big improvement on defense will be absolutely critical.

All things considered, yes pretty happy.

OL, LB and Safeties were probably the biggest wins, in terms of position groups. Love Caden Durham, think the receivers have a lot of upside and will have to develop, corners are the same as the receivers + the DL, we still have some work to do.

But all in all, very solid class and good foundation. Fill in's with transfers and we're turnin' and burnin'.

I generally like your posts, but this one is particularly good.

People tend to look at Rankings and ignore numbers because classes used to have limited numbers (more or less). Most rankings do not consider all of the recruits in a class. We have 28 high school signees. That's a terrific number, and it's going to help future seasons.
