We shouldn’t have any problem paying these 32 players we have to replace…right.

We are “flush with NIL money”? Hmm. Sources?

This is the second post from you about this…. You really think LSU is the only school with transfers going out?? It happens to every school. Go look around on how many are in the portal right now from various schools…. It’s just the way it is

How many players do we have? How many players can we add without going over the limit? Newsflash it isn't 32.

We technically should be in best position we have ever been in as far as NIL funds to spend. With losing Underwood that freed up his funds. Plus they stated they were basically not that aggressive last year due to the dynamics of the team and all so if true they had the money to spend but chose not to. Then when you lose players off your current team then that should free up some more funds to add to the pot. If they weren't aggressive last year, planned on being aggressive this year even with paying Underwood, then with this we should be ready to hand out the cash. we will see if we do or not. If we don't and hear the excuse of we did our homework and the right guys just weren't available and we weren't going to reach and overpay for players, that to me would tell me it's a load of coach speak and we don't have enough money to compete.

85 schlorship limit.
27 players going out including players out of eligibility, leaving early for pros, and transfers(14).
23 incoming freshman.
LSUs plan was to hit the portal. We could not have added any portal players or even all of our recruiting class if we didn't transfers.
Reality is some of these guys are being asked to move on, some are not being asked by staff to stay if they want to hit the portal, and some the staff would likely take back. That's the day and age we are in.
Does that help you understand what's happening or were you just being melty?

I count about 5-6 that I would like to keep. Some may be just renegotiating with LSU

That’s what happens when a person is in a high demand/low supply position. They get to set the terms.
