I had to get in on your smartassery. Let’s be clear, the team isn't put together, the season hasn't started and the fat lady hasn't sang. Before you act like you've proven anything you might want to humble yourself, set back and see how it plays out. This guy invented an interview that never happened and claimed Wade evaded questions nobody ever asked him because he misunderstood us talking about a camp Wade had attended with some other coaches a couple weeks back. He has no clue what he’s talking about, doesn’t know anything about college basketball, hates Wade and just makes shite up to push his BS. He’s about as low IQ as you’ll see here.

5 in 5 won’t be implemented retroactively. So players who have exhausted their eligibility won’t be allowed back.

Absolutely. Wade is a smart dude and he will pull in a roster that fits what he wants. I don't really doubt that. in fact thanks for reminding us that some players will withdraw from the draft before May 27.

I don't necessarily think so. Maybe I'm being pollyanna about this but I think a fan who bleeds purple and gold, doesn't want any coach to fail even if they don't care for him. I didn't particularly like Les Miles but I damn sure never wanted him to fail and I liked Kelly even less. I reached my breaking point with both of them but I never pull against my Tigers. I did hope they would be replaced.
People are wondering whether we are "betting on the come" in terms of all the good things that could fall our way versus what they see at this moment. Wade is going to have a full roster. No one really doubts that.

The legit LSU fans LOVE Wade.
You have a handful of WDS victims on this board that would cut their pecker off in order for him to fail. I have stated here multiple times that they're baseball fans intent on keeping basketball down at LSU. With Wade back, they can go fly a kite with those hopes. They're a microscopic portion of the fan base though, IMO.
Johnny, you ain't gonna find a bigger LSU fan than me since my parents started taking me to football and basketball games in 1977. I absolutely bleed P&G. But we needed (and I was rooting for) McMahon to get blown out in every game once the Wade rumors started heating up. I was also pulling AGAINST Wade at NC st by that point. Long term is ALWAYS more important than short term unless you have a chance to win it all now.

It won’t. The ncaa said all who exhausted eligibility won’t be able to come back. The new rule won’t apply retroactively.

It’s the framing certain “fans” if you want to call them that are using. They’re acting as if there are no players available when there are thousands still in the portal. Wade seems to be waiting to make a play for guys like Allen to put together an elite roster but if he misses there are still well over 2k players left to choose from. So it’s best case, the cream of the crop and worst case picking up guys that fit but may not be elite. The panic is manufactured and sure some people are nervous but most of the “sky is falling” crowd are reveling in it and hoping it’s true.
