People shrugging this off as no big deal and saying “we’ll always get skill players at LSU” are missing the bigger picture. It took O years to beat back Saban and pretty much lock down the state and get whoever we wanted. You give Saban an “in” with these areas and it’s over. Amite is a perfect example. You get pockets of Bama fans in crucial areas and it’s a serious problem.

Hell U-high is all Bama lately! How embarrassing is that?

At the start of the year, Harris and Allen 2 starting LB's were both from Baton Rouge. Allen got hurt I think. Harris played at U-High. Tim Williams and Dylan Moses both played there and went to Bama. Landon Collins played at Dutchtown, he too went to Bama.

Original take. How bout because we’ve gotten a ton of great players from that area over the years. Is that good enough reason for you?

By far. Saying Northwest Louisiana is pro Bama is one of the more ignorant takes I've seen on here and that's saying a lot.

This! North Louisiana is very very pro-LSU. Just because one player commits to Bama do not generalize a whole section of the State. I guess we are just going to act like Shazz and Anderson don't count?

What a stupid take. You can’t go eat in a restaurant in Shreveport/Bossier without half the patrons wearing some form of LSU clothing. People are in hissy Bc a groupie decide to leave to Bama during a coaching transition year. North La has produced countless studs for LSU while we lose kids that attend the lab school on Lsu’s campus.

Is this a troll thread? Because if it’s not there’s some people in here that are really unaware.

What a crock of shite. The I-20 corridor is probably 90% LSU and that is even with Tech and ULM up here. I live here and I never see Alabama shirts.

Wrong for a lot of us here. The fact is that LSU has always spent far more time recruiting early in S La than N La. Then late in the process someone comes in a day late and a dollar short and wonders why N La kids are offended that they weren’t an LSU recruiting priority early in the process. Happens every single year. For those of us that live along the I-20 corridor it’s a constant source of frustration with LSU recruiting

That’s some dumb BS. There are a shite ton of Saints/LSU fans in the Shreveport-Bossier area. There’s random Cowboy fans wherever you go. We give the ones around here hell too

Had cousins living in Shreveport, but that was 20 years ago. They would always get mad that those of us in south Louisiana thought they were cowboys fans.

Same thing goes for LSU.

I feel that lafayette, shreveport, and even Lake Charles are far more LSU as a whole. Baton rouge, new orleans, hammond, and Monroe...they give us a reason to question

You have no idea of what you're talking about. You are so full of shite. You've probably never been here. Shreveport and Bossier says "KISS OUR ASSES"
