So who would you leave out?
Here's your choices:
Surtain Jr.
Joseph
Goodrich
Chase
Watkins
Serious really?

No...you wait until next year to sign another 4 year kicker and strip the other guy's ship if he continues to suck. We already signed a kicker for next year.

Hell no. Next year if this guy doesn't pan out, but i have a feeling the kicker we just signed will get us past close games like this.

blame it on the wide hash marks

I would sign one...do not put all of our eggs in one basket.

They need to sign a special teams coach!

Um why is the OP getting blasted? The guy we just got only has one year of eligibility, and it's obvious Culp/Gonsulin don't have it.

One for next year and then we will have to recruit another for the following year!!

Are they getting processed as I don't see carrying both of them in 2018. Those guys are tough to watch kick.

Need to cut the 2 they have.

Hell LSU had 3 kickers this whole year that could not find the uprights. Hell get rid of the 2 we got left since the other one was a SR who flunked out of the bowl game and get one damn kicker please for next season.

Could we find somebody to take part of our scholarship quota and be eligible for only one game?
we'll just keep him in reserve until we really need him.

The Orgeron Brain Trust thought this kicker would not count against our 25 limit. Wrong.
One cannot help but think: we really could have used Joiner. we cannot take him now, b/c of this (another) Orgeron screw up.

If you believe that, then you're as dumb as you think Orgeron is.

We are good for 2019 with one of the best in country

Zachary had a FG kicker that was pretty accurate and could kick the ball from long distances.

Didn't O say that the graduate transfer kicker wouldn't count against the 25 limit at one point?
I don't think nitwit's comment is that far off base.
That said, Gonsoulin and Culp should have their scholarships pulled, and reallocated to upperclassmen who earn it. Invite a few walk on kickers and see who has it. That is what most other schools do.
I went to a Chris Sailor camp in high school and the majority of the emphasis is on kickoff distance and set place kicking without pressure or a rush. He tries to amplify the "pressure" by having all of the other campers watch each kick and will say, "you make this xx yarder and you will move to the top of the ladder" etc.
It's good for skills development, but I wouldn't put a grain of salt in the rankings, of which Culp was very high.
