*** A big target on the defensive side who is also locked in for a December official visit is Mississippi four-star safety Isaac Smith. I had Smith in my most recent “Class Prediction Piece”, and I feel like LSU has done a really good job of making inroads here with a Mississippi target that both Ole Miss and Mississippi State want to keep home. He’s a guy the LSU staff really has grown to like both on and off the field. He was courted early on by Vanderbilt, and he even took an official visit to Nashville. The staff in Baton Rouge feels like he would be a really good fit for what they’re trying to build under Brian Kelly. With official visits already made to both Vanderbilt and Texas A&M, Smith has three visits remaining. But, he told On3 this week that he’s only locked in one school for a spot among the final three official visits, and that’s his LSU trip next month. We will see if the Rebels or Bulldogs are able to secure an official visit as well, but the plan right now is set for Smith when it comes to a decision timeline. He will announce during the Early Signing Period in December, then enroll in a college for January. LSU has a big lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine as he closes out his senior year at Itawamba High, but this upcoming official visit – as well as the press from the in-state teams – will hold a lot of weight moving forward.

Was this from a pay site?

It's from On3 and not behind a paywall

Awesome as usual! Thanks

I want us to take a couple of highly starred Mississippi kids every year. East Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana is enough for us to be elite every year. Love that we might be back in business in the Sip.

I like the lowly starred ones, too, like Jalen Collins.

Something going on here today. Two posters basically calling this board out about On3 content which what I posted wasn’t behind a paywall.

Definitely seems like it.
I'm surprised neither of them said something about me posting the senior night list with a link to Shea's FREE article.

Screw them captain. We know you wouldn’t do anything wrong and shea would let you know if you did. Like you said, you always link their articles, including this one. Some people are either Karen’s or arse.oles or both.

It’s weird because when I made the On3 for a year it got anchored. Idk I shouldn’t read as much into as I am but it was all of a sudden.

I had your back. I almost told one of them to shut up.

Mckernan previously told Sports Illustrated the price tag for elite players is often at least $100,000. He said he will pay $500,000 in NIL deals this year.
Thought this was interesting.

I would assume he can write this off as a business expense. But that’s just a guess.

I think you can now, but Ol Tommy Tuberville is trying to change that.

He spends $1M per month on billboards. This is a small percentage of his advertising budget and I, for one, am grateful.
