You have Wiltfong figured out perfectly! The classic example was Colin Simmons...he had him forever to sign with LSU. Then amazingly close to signing day, he changed his pick to Texas. My guess is LSU was never in the lead for Simmons...just in the running.

Yea I just haven’t really payed close attention to 247. I mean if Terry’s recruitment is as tight as they say he probably wouldn’t know but I swear that dude will crystal ball someone a day before they commit and never miss. Just a thought

Why all the excitement?
There is no objective basis upon which to base a belief that Bussey has changed his long time commitment in favor of LSU (other than, possibly, his delay and subsequent visits here and elsewhere, which is ambiguous at best).
I haven't seen anybody change a prediction, unless Ferrell previously made one.

Well, Wiltfong is an amateur compared to Jimmy Smith. Remember the famous 5 for 5 by Jimmy Smith when he was supplying sport columns to Times Picuyune...at least the website. Right before NSD in Feb (there was no Dec NSD back then), Smith's headline was something like "Final Prediction" for those 5. He had them all going to LSU. Only Fournette and Adams signed with LSU.
Well, he changed at the very last minute and then claimed he got all of them correctly predicted. Wow!! Just wow! Hutzpuh is the word I would use.
