It's pretty unusual for a recruit to say "tell them I'm on my way" when he's still got a commitment event up in the air. Kind of takes some of the surprise out of that process. I hope he's not just trolling to pull a shocker at the last minute.

one thing that caught my attention was he talked about the fact that left us with only 1 LB commit so he was watching and knew the situation beforehand...makes me think hes serious

Yeah - I think he was more or less satisfied to stay home (Starkville) unless the right situation opened up. I like the kid - he seems pretty sharp. And if he can swing Phillips - the more the merrier.
