Happens to be teammate of highly-rated Safety, Nick Perry (Bama commit).
This could be a nice surprise pickup for the staff as well as a relationship builder into the Prattville HS program that has a history of success.

At 6'2" and 200lbs and 4.44 40 time. I project him as the next speed LB. Easily can put on 20-30 lbs. of muscle in the weight room.

After reading his article on rivals, this is definitely one of those guys i am glad we got. He seems like he always wanted to go here and had nothing but great things to say about our university. I for one am glad we got this guy. He really seems like the kind of guy that every coach wants: wants to help out in any way he can and loves the school. And not to mention that he received his scholarship after the coaches watched him in person also gets me excited! Welcome to LSU Sam Gibson i really hope you do well while you are here!!!!! Oh and we now have 12 commits this year! That is pretty amazing.

eyeran, he could have taken the ACT a few years ago and they also could have not updated his act score on rivals, if he has offers from stanford AND vandy i would bet he is a smart guy. Those schools don't just offer anyone, you have to be smart to go there.

Wow! This kid looks great but why hasn't there been any talk about him. His video looks better than some five stars that I've seen. Is there some thing we should know about this kid or did he really just fall through the cracks? Either way he is a tiger now and I'm happy that we got him. WELCOME

I dont doubt any of that. Im not saying he's not a smart guy either. The gpa/act split just seems off to me. Thats nothing unique to this guy though. We see those types of splits ALL the time in cfb recruiting
