Dude - you truly do not know what the fock you are talking about. Lake Austin homes are some of the most sought after homes in the state. Lake Travis is suffering from the drought. Lake Austin is not.

That said... The rumor I heard here in Austin was that terry was in town condo shopping for one of the kids.

Of course, I have nothing to substantiate that because it is merely a rumor.

That would be cool but saying he left LSU in a bind is a bit much. Cupboard was far from bare when he left. Anytime a coach leaves it's going to put that institution in flux but we still had great players to work with. I'm just very thankful that we got Les Miles! Could have been much, much worse. Ala. will be fine as well. Saban has an impeccable legacy as far as coaching and rejuvenating programs. If he really wants a challenge he should go to Grambling!

Bucc the only reason I think that this could possibly happen is that Saban knows how fast he could have Texas back on track. If you think he turned Bama around fast what he could do with Texas would make your faint. I also think he would want to stay in the Big 12. He would be even more dominant in the Big 12. Just think if he went next year he could be the team to stop the SEC streak on NC's. Assuming the SEC wins it again this year. Could you imagine his recruiting classes at Texas? I mean Austin is just a tiny bit cooler than Tuscaloosa.

Bama will still be Bama after he is gone

Well Bama sure wasn't Bama before he got there so I don't think there is anyway in the world they would stay at the level they are. Maybe for a year or two. Maybe.

It's a troll. Guy who wrote the article admitted it. Check the main board on SEC rant.
Sorry guys.

It wouldn't fall apart, but they would lose a few.

Considering that their big sell is the coach and his personal hand in the players' and program's success, I would expect a bit more of a dramatic impact.

If he really wants a challenge
This is the biggest myth about him. Hes not, nor has he ever looked for the greatest " Challenge." Like Spurrier said, "He's never gone somewhere that's never won and made them from scratch." He has gone places that have been successful, but had hit a lull. Stallings was garbage at A&M and the Cardinals, but won at Alabama. If they wouldn't have gotten the little bastard, chances are they would still be really good.

You can't tell me he doesn't sit in his plush leather booster seat and dream about being the only CFB coach to ever win a natty at 3 schools. He's too old and bridges are burned in the nfl. He and terry have both said "its more fun to build something, than to maintain it". His Ga lake house is on the market. He stays too busy to enjoy it. Austin would be the perfect stop for his walk into the sunset. He'd be Paul Dietzel, Bear Bryant, Darryl Royal 2.0
