I saw a tweet quoting his HS coach saying he's taking the SAT again. Is that wrong?

Heard he's there doing coursework to gain eligibility at LSU. So you're half right.

Can someone explain why? Shea tweeted that he had one hurdle to clear for the clearinghouse to admit him. Does this mean he is conceding being admitted?

First Cut,

If you don't like the terms then don't read. I don't like all the foul language, but there is still a lot of good info on here. You do have a choice.

Liggins' coach, Anthony Hart, said the quarterback could still end up at LSU if he meets academic requirements by the second half of the summer.

I think he's retaking the ACT and/or summer classes as well.

Liggins decided to take a class at the community college while he awaits the results of his final ACT attempt, which he took a couple weeks ago.

"This is just his fallback plan in case he doesn't qualify," Hart said. "He's still working toward qualifying and going to LSU."

Why can't LSU ever recruit a QB with both talent and brains. One without the other will not get us to the ultimate goal of the national championship.

Ponamsky said he had the grades, waiting on the test score. If he makes the test score he'll be here in the fall. The enrollment was a backup plan so he can continue his academic work in the event he doesn't get the test score needed.

Matt Mauck wasn't very talented, and Warren Rabb wasn't very smart.

There was one last year.(All-state) Led the state in passing.(over 3000yds) Junior year was second in state passing.5 time 5A player of the week both seasons.Finished high school as a two year starter with 76 total TD's.Was referenced by two Saints coaches. Knows the game. He was told by Frank Wilson he was the best QB in the state but they would not recruit a 6' QB...Told him if e was 6'2" he was in. Tough to swallow but it is what it is. He was offered by Petrino last minute on NSD but passed to go to a smaller college. He's very happy with his deal but growing up around here who wouldn't want to be a Tiger.

Only thing that scares college coaches is the kids from out of state and far away get wishy washy close to NSD. They all think they want to go far from home but when the time comes it gets hard for them. Unless they do not have a good family and then they are usually solid and want to get away.
