Reid tweeting Rothstein:

@JonRothstein I haven't decided yet, but worth rolling the dice since you have a 50 percent chance.

That's a pretty solid tweet from a high school kid.

Is he on campus this weekend? They brought some bball recruit to see Mike today, but I didn't really look too close.

Good grief, what Will Wade has done at LSU in a short period of time is a grand slam

Will Wades recruiting pitch Is come play with a guy that will really teaches you the game of basketball. Next years recruiting pitch is come play with the number one point guard in the country and bring college basketball back too LSU. Wade is a great teacher of the game and recruits know he is. I think wade sells his knowledge of the game to this recruits

If LSU lands this 5 star prospect it would be the second major star they get from this New Jersey city. The first one was a 4 year starter on two SEC title teams, an SEC tournament champion and a Final four participant. Can still hear Sid Crocker's booming introduction : At center from Roooooooosellllle, New Jersey Greg the Cooooooookie Man Coooook.

I think the bigger pitch may be "come play for a team that has exactly two guys taller than 6'6" on the roster next season." LSU is desperate for post players and Reid can jump right in immediately

Highlights For those who haven't seen his highlights, he's a beast.

he's a massive guy, but from the looks of it, he needs to work on developing strength and conditioning.... good range with the jumper for a big guy, but ball handling needs work too...
and Will Wade is just the guy to get the most out of him.... he will flourish here, and he has the luxury of not having sky high expectations, despite being a 5 star recruit....
and while it's not exactly Chris Jackson and Shaq, Smart and Reid are gonna be a tough duo for opposing teams....

AMEN!!! Back in the day, back when a man named Daddy Dale was at the helm of the ship, regardless who LSU was playing, regardless what the two team's record's were, you always felt LSU had a chance to win. These day's it's hard to even have confidence that LSU will at least be competitive. I miss those days, the 70's and 80's with coach Brown at the helm.

He compares well to Brandon Bass. Very physical, unselfish player, has a mid range jumper, ball handling skills need polishing , can block shots.
Hold that Tiger!

So, Naz is still uncommitted, right? It looks like that's what he said in his reply to Rothstein.
