While I agree, if Wade thought Hayward, Patterson, ER III and Jenkins could contribute, he wouldn't have cut them. There was a severe talent/coachability depth issue when he arrived and he addressed it.

I think a couple of those guys were a talent thing and a couple were a "not buying into Wade's World" thing.

If I had to guess:

ER III - Talent issue
Hayward - Talent issue
Patterson - Coachability and some talent issue
Jenkins - Injury related

If WW raises rhe Pheonix from the Ashes.......

My prediction, this guy will be at a blue blood in 5 years after having great success here on and off the court. He will completely revamp the program with better facilities, better players, and better fan support ($$)

And does all of this, why would he want to leave his kingdom and step away from the challenge of keeping that kingdom relevant.........

I totally agree. Reminiscent of Saban's introduction as football coach. For the first time in a long time I am looking forward to watching LSU basketball with the attitude they can contend for championships.

Here is a little secret about all these "blue bloods" people keep referencing: LSU has gotten, and will continue to gotten ELITE PLAYERS just like unc, duke, etc.. The difference now is we have a coach to match. EVERY COACH IN AMERICA knows getting future nba players at LSU is not a problem, and most importantly Coach Wade knows this.

I know Naz has a gf that's either here already or coming here and that he and Javonte are tight, but seeing him with Javonte at the Scotlandville game tonight gives me a good feeling about him
