I don't post a lot anywhere but am I the only one that thinks roster management is tough? With 20 signnes, see our options below
Probables
21. R. Davison (must take if still interested )
22. S. Jones (probably signed)
23. T. Leigh (Must take if interested )
24. B. Thomas
25. OL recruit or Corey Foreman

To take the OL volume that everyone on the board agrees, we might have to move on from Thomas and Foreman even if they are interested in coming aboard

Who is R. Davison? Is he an OT because we all know about that position Did you mean R. Davis?

We are at 21 with Jones. I think we finish with:
Kimo
Harvard transfer
Diggs
Leigh, BTJ, or a CB

21. DL- Savion - by all accounts already signed.
22. LB- R. Davis - Hopefully a guy that talented stays and signs.
23-25 OL- Tristan Leigh and/or panhandle FL kid and/or Grad transfer and/or kid from Houston.
26. Brian Thomas - if you miss on any of the guys above he gets in - i know he’s a stud but we got some studs signed.

You are going to get Thomas, Davis and 2 more OL. One of those 2 listed players and 3 OL. Perhaps neither of those players which might open the door for Gilbert, Diggs or another OL.

Does the Harvard transfer count against the 25 limit? I'm reading there's a one time exemption for grad transfers to count against the 25 scholarship limit

Thomas is a take in any regard. At this point Davis is <50% confidence. Foreman is likely not coming. Leigh is maybe a 30% chance. But If all those people want in that is what it will be.

My personal feel is that we take Thomas, Jones, 2 more OL, and wild card or hold for late qualifier/transfer.

I am sorry but CEO cannot pass on a local kid this highly ranked that you have been beating down his door for two yrs. The political optics are horrible for locking down local talent. He will go to one of our top competitors in Bama or aTm if we dont sign him and CEO will lose a lot of credibility in the living room of LA recruits.

Yes

I haven’t heard of any exemption for that, although it makes sense this year and would really help us getting back closer to 85 (or 81).

21. Jones ( Already signed )
22. Arnold ( love his versatility )
23. Kimo or Leigh ( best two available high school lineman imo )

Leave two for graduate transfer offensive lineman.

I’d rather take Moko than Kimo based on their film. Moko is a pretty freaky athlete for a guy his size and is super explosive. Also has 4 years to play 4 as a JuCo kid already with some college experience.

IMO, Davis and Leigh are your top priorities by a mile. If Jones has signed, that leaves 2 spots, I’d be totally fine with filling those spots with OL but quality not quantity (;don’t take guys that won’t legitimately contribute just to have numbers ). If you can’t close out with quality OL for final 2, absolutely try to get Thomas and foreman.

Coach O did offer and if he truly wanted to be a Tiger he could have signed last week! Coach O said it perfectly on Friday...now they have to move on to manage the roster as best they can. He has to take Davis and Foreman if they want in. We are in great shape at WR and hurting at OT. O has to focus here with the remainder of our signees.

I think we lose out on Davis. The final four will be two offensive lineman (hopefully one is Leigh), Thomas and Diggs.

Then maybe Thomas should have signed his LOI already.

I agree. WR is not a position that LSU is ever short on talent especially this year. If Thomas truly wants to be at LSU and contribute to the success sign up now. If not LSU and Coach O should move on. Use the scholarship somewhere else.

always the possibility he is a silent.

Let me clear up my position on this. I would not wait on a signing day decision if we have quality players at needs who are going to commit/sign. If he commits to coaches prior to SD he will be a take.
