Some aggie fans feel he likes Texas and then TCU more. They are pumping up Trey Williams and praying that LSU doesn't offer Devante Bourque.

One here does. He has mentinoed liking the idea of playing behind Malcom Brown (texas) and not taking the punishment from day one.

Personally wish he'd look at A&M's young OL, and what Cyrus was able to do last year.

Look forward to following this thread.

I think pretty much everyone is avoiding Lyles now, including players. It was one thing to associate with him under the radar, it'd be another thing entirely to do it now.

Gray is a special, special player, and I say he ends up at UT.

Not per Gray himself. Listed A&M, Texas and TCU as his top three. Although his dad was all everything at ttech, from the horses mouth, not in his top three. Long way to go though.

Just going to go out on a limb and say he will be playing his college ball in the state of Texas.

Texas/A&M

Always has. Mack Brown doesn't deal with street agents. But no Gray isn't currently connected to Lyles.

Trey Williams is though. One of Lyles websites.

I find this funny! When Peter Jenkins was saying that A&M was his leader, Texas continually claimed that he was dealing with a street agent. Now that we decided to go a different direction and he commits to the Sips, all of a sudden he is clean and the they "don't deal with street agents".

You talking out of both sides of your mouth might unfortunately get you lumped in with that moron Jesus Shuttlecock.

While MB recruits at a different level, I will admit that all day long, the spin/backtracking/180 out of Austin on Peter Jenkins is laughable.

You are correct.I read numerous threads about Jinkens being involved with a street agent.Apparantly he gave the "Texas" answer when Mack asked him at the JR day. Also Skyline is notoriously known as a school overflowing with street agent activity(mainly because it produces a plethora of prospects yearly;street agents dream) yet Texas is firmly imbedded in that school.I'm guessing that Texas only picks the ones that avoid the street agents.I certainly remeber Anthony Wallace being heavily recruited by Texas for half of last year.I guess that was before Flenory got ahold of him.

Please don't turn this thread into the BS about street agents.

TIA.

Why isn't LSU talking to Gray? This guy is the real deal: strength, speed, attitude and grades. I haven't seen any information that LSU is trying to gain his interest.

I doubt anything keeps MB out of Gray's living room. Having seen him a couple of times in person in the playoffs last year he is lightening in a bottle. A great complement to Malcolm Brown "thunder" IMO. Lots can happen between now and Feb. 2012 though. UT would finally be back where they belong in the run game.

Gray is so damn good. He'll be a better college back than Malcolm Brown.....and that opinion won't change regardless of where he signs.
