These literally mean nothing. Pimpton hasnt played much, Sharp had to be the guy by default at OU this year because all their scholarship WRs were hurt.

I also thought there were better options. I just wonder if his getting thrust into playing early and having to be more of a pass catcher affects his blocking. Maybe that is what BK meant when he said they liked his physicality. Maybe they think he just needed more coaching and to not feel he had to be a pass catcher first.

Who is we? Are you saying they negotiated a deal and went back on it because of on-field production? That seems risky since this is still against the rules. Where did you get this info?

The way the portal works, you need to retain lineman and a QB.
Seems like the rest will move around no matter what.

Because it was a 2 year deal in your words. If we decide to alter the contract thats a bad look on our end IMO. If it was a year to year deal then so be it, but if you're saying we committed to paying 2 years at x rate then decided after 1 year to lower it thats not a good look on our end.

well it was two years but we were not gonna pay him as much this year. he didnt deserve top 3 money and these contracts are written in a way the school can get out at any time.

im saying LSU said....we are renegotiating as we are not gonna pay as much as we did last year and if you do not like that...you can walk.

The opposite is also true. They have been in the LSU system and haven’t gotten it done,…..in most cases.

I agree. The only players we have in the portal I would have considered paying are Jay'viar Suggs and Kylin Jackson, and thats just because they are young and positions of need....If Kelly didn't make them a committable offer, there is a reason. He knows them much better than we do.
