Desiderio and Campbell weren’t introduced. Anybody know what’s up with them?

I know a bunch of kids were sick or out for a bit before today (not COVID related) so they may just not be competing tonight.

If someone has a small injury, I highly doubt they take any chances tonight.

I am visiting family right now so unable to make it tonight unfortunately.

I agree!! LSU Gyms Instagram has Chase as well. Her vault looked a little more dynamic than Kai’s off the horse - but all 3 vaults they showed looked amazing

Bryant's vault just looks too easy for her

I saw kamryn is not doing vault but In for the bars squad. Interested if anyone knows why- I thought her 1 and a half was really coming along last year

Chase has a 1.5 in the works. Hopefully we can see it this year. I know they are going to pace some of the upgrades though early on.

Kaytlyn Johnson hopefully we can see her double very soon, she is a rocket.

Tatum/Aleah obviously are going to be paced coming off some surgeries.

Bars lineup on Twitter seems to suggest Kiya still in the lead off (sigh), Kai appears to be leading for that second spot, and Elena in for Olivia. If anyone is there, I’d be interested to know what dismount HB does in the actual routine.

Kiya’s DLO on bars looks even better than it did in the past. Wow.

The sad part is she gets screwed over score wise just because she is a lead off.

NCAA judges need to judge the routines and not the order in the lineup.

Kai's handstands are much more polished although and still conflicted if she should keep the release

Aleah is gonna make that bar lineup at some point IMO. Handstands and toe point, full extension, her elite experience and polish just really shows. Hopefully she can stay healthy but she should have a pretty big expanding role as the season goes along.

I will say that’s the most hip rotation I’ve seen in Kai’s release. Still not as much as i wish it had, but it has improved.

They also have Livvy* on Instagram

*Livvy. Thanks for all these updates to those who are giving them! Really appreciate it from Seattle since the event isn’t being streamed this year

Aleah for beam anchor. That routine was gorgeous. Also Kiya with the new dismount. She looks so much better and more confident now.

I think taking out the switch half really helped dramatically. That was the one skill that kept giving her fits. I bet that takes a lot of stress off of her IMO

I agree.

It’s going to be hard to make lineups this year. There is a lot of talent on the team. It’s so good to see Kai back. She was greatly missed on vault and bars last season.

I was so happy to see Kai back out there. She seems to be a favorite among her teammates, and I think she will be a crowd favorite, too.

I think K.J. Johnson will be a crowd favorite on floor. It’ll be interesting to see who makes all the lineups.

@tigerbait kind of looks like the first 6 on the Twitter lineup posts would have been Jay’s 6 on each event had tonight been a competition. Considering the flu, I’m not sure what that beam and floor lineups would have actually looked like, given a healthy team. I’m sure we’ll all talk about this for the next month and 4 days… but i agree with y’all, Aleah looked great in that beam lineup.
