Baylea Brandon and Mackenzie Redoutey are both stud freshmen that should fill those two spots.

Is anybody going this weekend? Looks like I'm going to Houston for the Shriners Classic so I may not see the girls play until Oklahoma City this year.

You are right, neither of them showed very well this weekend. I can only assume Brandon must have been dealing with a nagging injury considering she only got two at bats and never played in the field. However Redoutey had her chance.
I liked the contributions from Coffey and Newland this weekend, Sunseri, Briggs and Clark looked great, and Pleasants will be fine, she just had an off weekend, very rough!
Very encouraged by Wickersham and Chaffins outings, and Sunseri and Kilponen looked very good on the mound.

Didn’t realize Sunseri is the only senior on the team. With the class coming in I see why Beth didn’t delve much in the portal. No room.

Bergeron is not having as hot a year so far, not sure why. Her numbers are down in spots.
Her teammate and LSU commit though Savoy leads the nation in RBI's 70 and 20 HR's. Granted they don't play the best competition but still impressive to be putting the numbers up she is putting up. She is having a much more impressive year

Hey 357, what do you know about Addie (AJ) Jackson from St. Amant? She has 26 home runs and pitches, including a perfect game in the State Championship game yesterday.
Interesting to note that Bailey Landry's Dad, Darrel is on the coaching staff.
Do you know if LSU recruited her? If not, why not? Does she play travel ball?
Could have been maybe a version of Sunseri? Did she not go to any Torina camps or pitching lessons? What is the LSU bias against her, if any.
Thanks for letting me/board know anything you know about this situation. Might boil down to the decision makers thinking she just isn't LSU/SEC material.

I think this answers your question about LSU’s lack of interest in her. If she were a top recruit, another SEC school would have gotten her. That doesn’t sound like some unique bias against her on Torina’s part.
