That's three freshmen and four sophomores right there....

The other two starters are probably Senior Sunseri and sophomore Cummins

Do we have any girls coming in that can rake? We’ve really been struggling in the batting area. Do we still have the same batting coach?

I'll take that as a yes. After the olympic batting debacle i thought it would have been a good time to part ways.

Always funny how when the national team wins Dobson is just along for the ride but if they lose he's changing all their swings

Team USA coaches do not mess with players mechanics. These are professional athletes with their own skill sets already developed. What they (coaches) do is select the teams and help with scouting.

Actually USA Softball has a selection committee who has a huge role in choosing the players. My sources tell me that many of the selections are made due to politics and the sponsors pushing their players. There was a lot of grumbling at the Jr team USA vs USA exhibition series in Sugar Land, especially when the junior team beat Team USA.

That actually makes a lot of sense. National team selections have been suspect for a while now. On the other hand, with softball not being a permanent Olympic sport, money talks.

Any predictions on this years lineup??? Who can we expect to play big for us other than the regulars (Pleasants, Briggs, Clark)

Knowing Beth we will see a lot of rotation at several positions unless a couple players stand out like Pleasants and Briggs did early on. Personally I'm hoping the freshman are as good as advertised, otherwise it's going to be a long year. Anybody know when media day is?

Can’t believe Beth didn’t get “1” portal transfer. WTF?

Beth is nothing if not loyal to her recruits. As can be seen by the almost decade long revolving door at second base. You can't tell me that not one high level second baseman has hit the portal in the last few years? Hopefully we have the solution now but man, nobody can claim she doesn't stick to her guns.

How did the Recruits that play for USA do in the tournament in December? Did they display any power?

Coach said both Danica Coffey and Perkins are fighting for the starting spot at 3rd. Has anyone seen them in person over there? It's been a long time since 3rd base was a legitimate question for this team.

In high school at Angleton, I saw Coffey play a lot of 3B and she was really good.
