Do all of them still have scholarships available? I think at least Alabama has a buch of commits. But even if so, if the last year is any indication, I would rather not have Olivia Greaves on the team. Though she is very talented, she seems to be constantly injured.

Actually I think WCC would have been better for her. Konnor is incredibly talented, but often times I feel she doesn't enjoy competing or is extremely nervous. WCC seems more relaxed to me, so maybe this would help Konnor to calm her nerves and enjoy competing.

Olivia's growth spurt over the last year is probably the biggest issue right now but she is a very talented and gorgeous gymnast. Elite training is harsh on the body. She should go Level 10, heal up and train for college. She will be good wherever she ends up IMO.
I honestly wouldn't want her at OU because they would do really good things with her.

That’s what I fear with Lily...her having a growth spurt and having to relearn her gymnastics. She even mentioned this in her Instagram post, saying she hopes she doesn’t grow another six inches while recovering. I know this happened with Peng Peng Lee and Kyla Ross. Having to relearn and adjust can be challenging. But I actually wouldn’t mind if Lily could put on a little more muscle. With her tiny frame, I just question how she’ll hold up competing every week in college.
Also, are you all getting a little worried with injuries with the future commits? I’m mainly referring to Annie Beard and Lily. Beard seems to be injured every year, and Lily seems to be following that path. Now I do wonder how much the coaches have to do with it as well.

The 2022 class with Lilly and Annie dealing with injuries is a bit concerning, although hopefully Bryce can keep it up. Annie and Lilly have at least been training and competing these last couple years contrary to this years senior class where many of them went years without competing/limited training due to their injuries.
K. Johnson has been extremely injury prone but looks better than ever this spring before coming to LSU. So there is still hope Annie and Lilly can have a similar path before coming to college.
Annie though I think will be back in a month or two training so I heard. Her injury wasn't major, she needed a procedure though. I am not sure what Lilly's specific issue is unless she sustained some type of fracture.

Meet week! Podium training going on for nationals
I've been watching a bunch of Konnor's gymnastics lately. Getting closer to that time where 2023's can commit. I notice the gymternet has been discussing where she will end up, general consensus is LSU.

I really hope so, I can definitely see her scoring perfect 10s on every apparatus.

She would be PHENOMENAL as a Tiger, especially for us on beam knowing how solid she already is with even the most difficult skills. She’s got incredible form, is strong and consistent on all 4 events, and with a simpler dismount on beam in college, she’d be unstoppable and have a collegiate career right up there with Maggie, Kyla, Alex McMurtry, Lexy Ramler, Haleigh, Kiya and the rest of the greats.

Any word on who they are looking at for vault (or my preference...beam, and moving Ashleigh to vault)

I haven't heard much yet, I heard some very out there names but none that make much sense to me. I notice some of the twitter crowd wants Jay to hire Sami's mom

Konnor will not be competing this weekend or Trials.

Do y’all think the pressure got to Konnor? I hope she is not doing unwell mentally. So much pressure on such a young girl.

Poor girl. Makes you wonder if she is just giving up and waiting until 2024. She was never planning to peak this year. Olympics being pushed back kinda screwed a lot of things up

I wish Jay would hire a former Olympian, if any of them are looking for work
Seems to have worked to Arkansas’ benefit!

Sounds like she is. Rough to suddenly try to peak 3 years earlier than she originally planned. I do think the extra COVID year has not been kind to many of the top US elites for the Olympics. You can see their bodies just breaking down, especially for those who were timing to peak last year.

I've been hearing 2024 was always her goal and she has just decided to stick with it instead of trying to compete with huge field of these crazy games.

I wonder if maybe Bridget Sloan would be a good coach. She is a terrible analyst so maybe coach would be better for her. And you could definitely have her help with all events.

I don’t think she has any coaching experience

Does any other recent Olympian (who could appeal to potential recruits) have relevant coaching experience? How important is it to have college experience? Would an experienced level 10 coach be a good alternative?
