Wouldn't surprise me. She'd be an instant contributor on 3 events (vault, bars and floor).
I hope LSU can pick up Olivia Greaves.
In 23 news, I heard one of LSU's recruiting targets Elizabeth Ganter has reopened her recruitment. She was committed to Georgia. Ganter finished 2nd in the AA at JO's with a 38.800 behind another top LSU target, Kylie Coen.
Kylie Coen seems to be the top level 10 recruit from 23 that LSU wants. I'd recommended watching some of her gymnastics clips. She is terrific.

Saw that, makes me concerned for her getting burned out before reaching NCAA. I can’t help but feel bad for her old Long time coach who got her to this point And then is ditched right before nationals/trials. Actually I’m not sure Konnor will make Olympic trials at this point unfortunately, might be close.

Konnor was pacing for 2024 but the olympics being moved back a year changed a lot. Kinda a rough spot for her to be stuck between.

Given Mary Lee Tracy's history, nothing shocks me. Last I heard she was still training unless something else is going on. She dealt with some injuries within the last year and had to take some time off for her health as well. Hopefully she is alright.

I wonder if they are ever going to investigate Mary Lee and Kim like they did Maggie. I’m surprised with the articles about Texas Dreams coming out that nothing has happened yet.

I don't know very much about inner workings of CGA but Texas Dreams is one of the worst gyms in the country when it comes to pacing their athletes, specifically the elites. Notice Texas Dreams always had the top junior elites but they are burned out and injured by the time they hit the senior level. Kim grew up in the days where athletes were peaking at much younger ages verses now the age is older for kids who go to the olympics.
now, do I think Kim is intentionally trying to harm the athletes? I do not but as a coach its completely irresponsible to not see all the injuries (there is literally a long list of them) and refuse to make changes for the health of those athletes. Injuries come with the sport but the amount of career ending and nagging injuries athletes from that gym sustained are on another level compered to other gyms.
Maggie was such an evil bitch who belittled her athletes. Glad all that info came out. Someone like that should not be coaching athletes or around children period.

I know these kids put in all this work their entire lives in order to reach their goals, maybe in Olivia's case to make it to trials or olympics. But given her injury history, I'm surprised she doesn't concentrate on her health, go JO for her senior year before college.
US Championships is right around the corner as is the trials. Not sure what the end goal is here. Wouldn't shock me to see her retire from elite soon.

I think in Greaves’ case, she hasn’t really been able to adjust to her changing body. Couple that with her recent injuries and gym change...I can see how all of that would affect her mentally and psychologically. Hope she gets healthy enough to at least enjoy some type of college career. She is so talented and I would hate to see her career end early due to injury.

Leah herself hasn’t officially announced it but that link is to a photo I saw on twitter that’s a screengrab of a Tiktok posted by one of her friends at her graduation party. The caption says “Grad party for Leah. ?????? THE QUEEN IS GOING TO ARKANSAS” and in the video, Leah is seen holding up a razorback flag” I think that’s proof enough that she’s going to Arkansas, even if she hasn’t officially announced it herself on social media yet

IIRC she had a bad landing on a DTY at the American Classic and then pulled out of the US Classic. It sounds like from her latest IG post that she is injured. I hope it isn't too bad. But yes, CGA's past injury rate isn't great.

Just saw where someone posted Greaves is considering Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Alabama. Not sure how credible it is though.
