Really great technique. I have her in my preseason lineups doing 3 events. Definitely need that vault in the lineup.

Bob is one of the best in the business. Alyona is locked in on vault and bars for me right now. She is heavily in the mix for beam right now, just needs to show the consistency because the routine is there to score well when she hits.
Beam IMO is gonna be difficult to choose a lineup, that event has so much depth but a lot of quality routines. Dunne, Bryant, Arenas, Alyona, and D'Antonio are gonna make things interesting for returners. I hope this competition takes that event to the next level.
Sierra Ballard is even doing some very good things on beam. Her best event IMO.
Very excited for 101 in a week. Good opportunity for kids to make a statement early.

I agree, it looks like Alyona will make 3 events this season. That vault looks better than her full. I think she will lead off on floor, and it looks pretty good to me.

I think Jay said it best, getting Alyona healthy is like adding another true freshmen to the team this year. She was significantly limited year one and has taken it to another level this fall training all 4 events.
It be nice to see her in the floor lineup this year with her style.
Arenas doesn't get talked about as much as Dunne and Bryant but she will be very impactful as well.

Does anyone know if Kai’s bar dismount she just posted on her Instagram story is recent or old? Looks to be old because I think she tore her left Achilles but I wasn’t sure. Either way that dismount looked fabulous.

I don’t know how to feel about this. Crack judging seems to be getting worse every year. Just one significantly poor judged meet could make a giant difference in the rankings. This is gonna be interesting.

That’s actually a great fit for her. Love to see elites choose schools other than OU, Florida, and UCLA. Cal is going to be scary good with Frazier, Li, and Perea for a few years.

Just think jitters are getting the best of the gymnasts right now. Glad they have this meet to work out some kinks.
