Just read where, if the PAC-12 does have a gymnastics season, no spectators will be allowed in Pauley Pavilion for meets. Not sure if that’s the case for all PAC-12 schools. Sucks for UCLA but I understand the reasoning.

That does stink. With 101 allowing in some spectators, maybe there will be VERY limited people admitted for our home meets, but I don't think it will be many, if any.

Received this email today about 101:

The event will be a limited internet stream on the SEC Network plus. No commentators will be on air, and it will be strictly a video feed.

Now is a great time to join Tiger Spotters :-)

We have been Spotters for several years, and find it to be very beneficial for us as well as helping supply the girls with some of the things the coaches need for them. Also some great perks for us.
Come join the group, it's GREAT!

Tiger Spotters is the best booster club on campus. We have the most activities for member of any of the other sports. I joined the Diamond backers and that club does absolutely nothing, well I guess we were supposed to do 2 dinners in the out field last year, but Covid hit and all that got cancelled I still join to support the girls. The Gridiron club does very little.

The spotters have something for every home meet, and other events throughout the year. I highly recommend this club. Plus you get good SWAG.

The PMAC will be limited to 25% of “normal” capacity for the gym meets per an article on The Advocate.

I wanna do a quick poll... if you could add one more recruit for the 2022 class, who would you add?

Selena Harris
Sophie Butler
Emjae Frazier

There are some very out there rumors about Jordan Chiles is talking to other schools still.... all I will say

That’s tough but I would say Ciena Alipio! I love her on beam. I also really like Sydney Morris.

This is a tough one. I've loved Selena for so long now that I would go with her, but any of the 3 would be incredible. I wonder how many spots they have left, if any at all.

Helen Hu tore her ACL and meniscus. Prayers to a speedy recovery.

Big loss for Missouri this year

Jay Clark and Christina Desiderio Interview/Season Preview

Good little interview detailing coaching change, overall team health, overview on team depth and more.

This season won't count against eligibility so seniors could potentially return.

No!!!!! I love watching her on beam and bars! This sucks soooo much.

Also, I cannot support the All Things Gymnastics Podcast. In fact, I no longer support them or Gymcastic (although I still love Spencer and the BBS on its own). They said some pretty hurtful things about one of the LSU gymnasts, and I called them out on it. We got into a spat on Twitter. I think they got upset because my comments were getting a lot of likes and they didn't like it. So I pass on this one.

Kinda sucks that LSU’s meets versus Georgia and Missouri will not be televised this year.

I thought it could still be televised via SECN+ online but maybe I’m wrong

Any word on how many will be able to attend meets? And how it will be determined who gets to?

Looks like 2,500-3,000 fan limit (under current rules) like basketball which is 25% capacity. I am assuming gym season will have the same attendance rules as them. I don't know the specific logistics or if there is a package to choose multiple meets you want to attend, that hasn't been announced yet. Based off the number of season ticket holders, its not possible for everyone to attend a meet at the same time so they will likely break that up.

I'm just thankful that they will all be streamed online or on TV in some form and we get a season in.

Just read the article regarding Leanne Wong on CGN. She states that she was offered a scholarship from Stanford, Alabama, and UCLA. So LSU never offered her?

^also re the Leanne article, she picked the only school she had a chance to visit because of COVID ??

Wong had visited other campuses before COVID happened so maybe she is talking about this year.....

She had offers from pretty much every school out there, the schools she considered the most (partly due to academic ambitions since she wants to be a doctor) were Florida and the Cali schools.

Alyona

Expecting big year from her

Vault is gonna be really really good. Adding Alyona, Ryan’s 1.5 is really good. Haleigh Bryant, enough said.
