Roten took OU’s last scholarship to which must mean either they didn’t offer it to Booth and Ballou, those 2 girls declined it in favor of other schools, or it was pulled from them for some reason

I never thought Ballou was going to OU.

My original point was never meant to insinuate that Ballou was going to OU. It was mainly just a commentary on the fact that every OU Twitter fan believed/believes that everyone who has ever visited their school is committing there and there’s no other option for them other than to choose a school where they want to win (as if that’s the only deciding factor for choosing a school)

Yeah I’m a bit unsure if lsu offered her. If they did that might mean they know something about Diaz but I know Sophia was someone they really want

Mustari is the other one I want badly. Probably the purest bar worker recruit in quite a while if we land her (from a form and execution standpoint)

Does anyone know Diaz's other visits? All I've seen is LSU and UCLA.

Does LSU have a good feeling about Mustari's commitment? I'm keeping high hopes for her decision.

Are Mustari and Diaz mutually exclusive? Could they sign both or would either one fill all open scholarships?

I was under the impression they can and would like to sign up to 4 for this cycle.

Hope we get Diaz, I know there has been a lot of buzz with Michigan but we will see.

Hope they get Mustari out of her and booth if it came down to it

That honestly made the most sense out of all the schools tbh

Grab Mustari next week and hope they can land Diaz and its a excellent class

Booth is great but I do think if we end up with Mustari and Diaz then it is a better overall class.

Apparently after she visited the coaches all mutually decided that she wasn’t a good fit for the program and dropped her scholarship offer. I’m not sure how accurate this is but it would make sense why she decides to choose Auburn after all when I know how badly she wanted to go to LSU

An interesting post on Reddit.........

quote:

Reddit: Yay! I really thought lsu but I think her going to auburn is better. She’ll be a star there whereas we know lsu is stacked.

Her and her bestie brynn Tory who is also going to auburn are going to be so good together!

Also charlotte said that she got all 5 full ride offers so she chose auburn not because of the scholarship situation

Genuine question…what would make someone not a good fit for the program? Not willing to work hard? Not team oriented?

The gymnasts are so diverse and seem so welcoming, it’s hard to imagine someone not being a good fit.

Also interesting to see the recruits Clemson is getting despite not having a season yet and a coach riddled with abuse allegations.

Fit has a pretty broad meaning, maybe its location of school (proximity to home), team culture, relationships with coaches, maybe academics is a factor especially for particular degrees, and of course the ability to compete early and on multiple events, its a bit crowded to make lineups at certain programs. You only get 4 years and maybe someone doesn't want to wait 2-3 years before having the chance to break a lineup.

The stuff coming out of Utah is wild. I would be really interested to know Courtney and Garrett really think of Tom Farden. I also hope Miya’s reputation isn’t tarnished by proximity to Tom.

I was literally just about to say the same thing. I’m proud of Kara for not holding back and speaking up in the way that she is and even more proud to see her former club and college teammates who have left the Utah program and come here standing by her in support
