Upshaw had to slim down after the Senior bowl. He was said to be up to near 290 by the combine. He is listed at 272 with the Ravens now.
If he played at 285, he would probably be the first player in the history of college football whose measurables were underreported that badly (maybe at all) on his college bio. Usually those stats are heavily inflated. Pretty sure him playing at 285 is another one of those message board urban legends that fanbases like to jerk off to.
