Also, I think Hill>Hilliard in terms of potential. No, that is not because Collins blocked for Hill and made him look better. It is because I honestly feel like Hilliard could be an All-American LB. I'm sure I'll get blasted for this, but whatever.

So Hill>Hilliard's potential?

But Hilliard will be an All-American?

Did anyone see the Patterson/Redemptorist football game? Hill tore it up. Hilliard dissappeared.

Yeah, I watched it. It's one game, for one.

I asked someone earlier, but didn't get a response. Didn't they play again in the playoffs? I thought Kenny dominated that matchup.

Regardless, I didn't mean it as a pot shot at Hill. He's a very good player and will be a very good player in college. I just think Hilliard could be a special back.

I thought hill was the best rb in the state that i saw. i'm not going to slight the kid.

i think lsu with or without hill will be fine. i don't think magee gets enough attention. kid reminds me of dalton. (kind of ironic with k.h. being his nephew). big thighs, great cutting ability, can break tackles, good vision. kid is a football player.

hill is the slasher of the group with very good speed. reminds me of toefield.

kenny, he's a battering ram. lee brecheen has stated kenny is the best rb in this state he's seen at his jr weight. he's a little to heavy right now. i've seen him and think more of ron dayne/brandon jacobs. i did not see him as a jr.

we still have spencer, blue, gore, and ford. as long as you get the o line, the rb's will look better. it's why bama's duo wasn't quite as effective this year. the o-line wasn't as good.

He is probably just not feeling the love after all the METT hype. Just get Wilson over and give him the full court press and he will realize that being a Tiger is his destiny.

Its kind of easy to look like your the best downhill runner in the state running behind Laell Collins. If he'd like that luxury to continue, he'll recommit to LSU.

I agree about the competition. I can't understand the depth chart play. If you're good enough, then you'll play. Hilliard is better and didn't have Laell Collins to run behind in high school..

IMO, Hill is waiting on Crowell. If Crowell signs with UGA, he's a Bama commit. If Crowell signs with Bama, Hill is a LSU recommit.

I translate I still have LSU on top but want to start the process over to mean, " I don't have big enough stones to compete with other talented players. "

He'll never see the field at LSU with this attitude anyway.

We are so deep at running back that Hill would probably have to redshirt here anyway. I want him to come to LSU for sure but don't blame him for looking for better chances to play.

This is an interesting thread. But what is getting lost here I think is everyone thinking Bama is the other option for Hill and he is running from competition at LSU but Bama's Rb group is just as solid as LSU's. Maybe there is another player in this.

Not really. Joe Addai is the only one I can think of, and he is as much a product of Miles as he is Saban.

Hope Hill remembers that he is a prized Louisiana recruit. He goes out of state good luck trying to find a job in Louisiana when football days are over.

If he chooses LSU, regardless of the outcome of his career, he will be taken care of and welcomed with open arms wherever he looks for a job.

This. Before Joe was D. Davis/Williams and L. Toefield. After Addai was Hester.......so nick had not a one?

Wrong.

Word on scout is that it is a family issue. His family is practically forcing him to look around. LSU is still considered the far and away leader for his signature.

I truly think that Hillard and Hill will red shirt regardless. I just don't see how they can crack the lineup with Ridley, Ford, Ware and Gore.
