I thought I read his school wouldn’t allow him to sign until February.

Unless he signed with his home state university.

Maybe let these kids do what they want and go where they'll be happy? This is America last I checked.

It would not shock me if Saban and Bama were involved with undermining LSU's position, even if they don't get the guy.
Just how much power does Saban have? Apparently, almost unlimited. He can make a 5-star recruit who signs with a 3rd party string LSU along?
Not everything is the REC's doing.

it isn't a good thing in any way that he isn't at LSU

That remains to be seen.

The old saying goes though, it's not the ones you don't get that hurt you. It's the ones you get that can't play.

Either way, he will be out of sight, out of mind. And he's not going to be that much better than any replacement we get next year.

Whatever.

I’ll NEVER blame a kid that ultimately stays home.

It's not hate to say what the kid did was shitty. It's also not hate to say what he did was stupid. It's not hate to say that Maryland sucks at football and their coach is awful.

All of these things are objective facts.

This. What a fricking horrible career move and just a bitch move in general.

So? Is it weird I'm saying I don't want my annual opponents to get super stars or more super stars?

The hate on this thread is insane. Good luck at Maryland Rak.

You ever notice how there's never hate for kids who are just honest about not wanting to sign here? lol he straight up lied to the LSU staff for months. It's the dishonesty and games that is getting him hate, not his choice of school.

He probably just craves the absolute anonymity playing at Maryland gives you. Some people just prefer the small stage and the thought of no competition or pressure. Total crickets for 3 years and then the NFL. Plus no games past November.

I’m happy for SVP.

No problem with a kid staying close to home. Big problem with the telling of a lie about his school not allowing him to sign. Shows lack of character and major red flag. Would have been better off saying he is reconsidering. Wish him luck and move on.
