Can you reference any official NCAA manual which addresses and identifies a preferred walk on or grey shirt?

Stingley looked fine when he wasn't hurt.
Fine? You want your consensus top 10, maybe top 5 pick to play fine? Coaching was atrocious. DBs frequently out of place, confused and early in the season lacked fight.

I see the problem. Humans create short hand names for more complex ideas so we don't have to start from first principles each and every time the idea is discussed. In these cases, the names flow from either an implication of the NCAA manual (e.g. certain walk-ons are more privileged than others), or a specific application of the recruiting rules as written (i.e. an athlete who delays full time enrollment until after the fall semester and then joins the team, can have his scholarship applied to the following year and delays his eligibility clock one year) that has been used before by many teams.
Hope your little lizard brain can process this.

By fine i meant he looked like himself. He was hurt most of the year.
What did ricks do wrong? You mentioned him also. Ricks was a top 5 corner in all of college football.
I do believe the players hated pelini but some of the blame has to be placed on the players.

Lets get back to Pig
He shows a bit of TM7 on the field. I would like to see him given the chance here.

Gotta respect that.
Hopefully he can crack the lineup in a year or two.

Wait you’re blaming Pelini for stingley’s play last year? lol. He’s largely a man to man corner that locks down one side of the field. He was hurt, and even when he wasn’t, didn’t play well. He had a sophomore slump, it happens. This is his money year. Hopefully he’s got his stuff together.

He had a hell of a game against Catholic in the state championship. The only reason he didn't get that much attention was because Donovan Kaufman played such an awesome and game changing game.
