All of those QBs would be considered strong arm QBs in college

Maybe not compared to other NFL guys but certainly strong for college

Correct, they were all tops in NCAA football in their college days.

This. Entire thread is hair-brained. All other things being equal, you take the guy with the better raw armstrength. No one would advocate taking an inferior QB with a Nikon for an arm over a complete QB (sorry.. couldn't resist ).

Really?!?!

A Canon for an arm, and an Edict for a leg?

Jeff George, Randall Cunningham, Aaron brooks, and JaMarcus had some of the strongest arms I have ever seen.
Interesting choices.

Montana, young, Brady, brees, and both manning boys have average arms.
Oh shite.

Neither manning has ever had as strong as arm (distance) as a favre, brooks, or even Stafford

I would take Jamarcus again in a heartbeat.

Id almost say there isnt a D1 college football program outside of MAYBE Clemson that wouldnt bench their starter if they could have college Jamarcus.

Most would take the college versions of these guys as well

Jeff George, Randall Cunningham, Aaron brooks,

This! These are the kinds of QBs that have helped us win the three NCs we have.

All of those guys were stud college QBs. So, what's your point?

The point of the thread is arm strength as in throwing distance should not be the top criteria when evaluating quarterbacks. Accuracy, leadership, footwork, toughness, work ethic, and IQ are just as important if not more important.

If you would rather have college Flynn over college Russell then there is no talking to you. You simply either know zero about football, never watched either play, or you are a racist.

Of course, the OP did not mean he had a camera for an arm. I am sure he meant he had a copier for an arm.
