If we get leavitt or longstreet and also Clark I think we can compete for a championship year one. I know I know we don’t have any linemen but we just need 3 or 4 of the 8 or 9 that we sign to pan out. Our defense looks like it’s not gonna be any drop off from last year. I know the A&M game but the team had checked out. Blame Kelly we don’t really know how good the players we have are.

Why wouldnt we want Longstreet?

Leavitt won’t be able to practice until Summer.

New QB, New coaching and so on.

We need a QB ready work day 1.

I can’t believe how many here consistently fall for your drivel, but thanks for summarizing the opinions you share from behind the paywall.

Factual info/sauces you do not have.

Cause Longstreet never started a down for USC. He was a backup.

You guys are trying to make Longstreet into a great quarterback. He hasn’t done shite at USC.

If you gonna hang your season on a backup that didn’t play significant play at USC…. THEN YOU’RE A FOOL!

Not like he was a 3 year backup. He was a 5 star recruit who only left for an opportunity to start.

A freshman sitting behind one of the best QBs in the country is not a bad thing. Kid looked like the real deal in limited action

Leavitt threw for 2,800 yards.

Same as hanging it on a spoiled QB that's on a foot and half and who knows how he's bouncing back from that surgery

A lot cheaper than Leavitt, still potential since Lane has proof of developing an QB and he isnt recovering from an injury.

Exactly, saves you $2+ million and Kiffin made Blake Sims and Jake Coker into stud college QBs. I like my chances he could turn Longstreet or Clark into a stud as well

Who speaks about inner circles in a text like that? Seems a bit of a stretch.

He was a backup.

You mean like Joe Burrow before he got to LSU?

Leavitt is injured, Longstreet was a 5 star who sat behind a really good college quarterback

Not sure why you're telling me to "wake up"

Longstreet would be like getting Underwood back

Lots of incredible QBs were backups at the start of their college careers. Probably 99% of them, actually. What's your point?

He doesn't have one, he looks at numbers and thinks that's it
