Unless he falls apart in the spring which he won't, Johnson won the starting job with his performances in the Florida and Ole Miss games. Brennan can't move around like Johnson and create opportunities with his feet. That's a must in college football today.

It's starting to look that way in the Pros too.

Johnson definitely adds that extra threat with his legs. But man, Brennan can throw the ball. If we can muster a decent running game with Brennan at QB, I think our offense could be dominant. We asked Brennan to carry a ridiculous burden when he was playing, and I still knew we had a chance to gain 20-30 yards every time he dropped back.

OTOH, the threat of a QB run certainly opens up other options.

I think a lot of it will come down to whether Brennan is healed up in time for spring ball. Assuming he is, I still think he’s our best QB for now.

As far as Nuss goes, I was blown away by his attitude and maturity when he can on OTB last week. That kid is a straight up leader. As others have said, he definitely has a little bit of that Baker Mayfield (and Joe Burrow, for that matter) air about him.

I haven’t felt this good about the LSU QB room since we had JaMarcus, Flynn, and Perrilloux on the roster. And honestly, I think I’m more excited now.

Unless we change the offense, Max Johnson will start. As we saw with Burrow, to maximize this offense, you need a run threat at QB. Myles is not that; not knocking him, but he’s simply not a threat on the run option, especially compared to Max.

Finley is likely gone anyway. Brennan too.

Brennan won't need to since Max never unseated Brennan.

Curry now gone so that clears it up. Bradford is an enigma...only put in for passing plays and doesn’t catch well. Struggling to see his skill set and how it fits going forward.

Bradford’s vision during the Ole Miss game was really good. His speed was nice too.
