His sophomore film looks pretty solid. I’d like to see that kid in the class for sure

Look for Nabers to get offered at CB

Lester, is this you just having a hunch or do you know something? I'd love to fit Nabers in this class if there is some way to do it.

I thought Fidone was generally thought to be an LSU favorite. Anything changed or was he not really a favorite all this time?

Isaiah Johnson was ranked #5 in the country, #1 CB but then he broke his ankle early in his junior year and has fallen to the #78 overall i think. he would be a huge get that would fly under the radar because of his ranking now

i think Fidone is down to Nebraska and LSU. he’s grown up going to Nebraska games and it’s about an hour away from his home. they also have no TEs on scholarship after this year so they can give him immediate playing time. we can’t really offer him that, but we offer the ability to compete against the best and for championships. i think he goes to Nebraska so he can’t get on the field right away but it’s going to be an interesting battle because it’s 2 totally different recruiting pitches.

Yeah his hudl was pretty good, saw he played some WR as well. I wasn’t aware he was high on us, I’d really like to add him to the class. Getting him and the possibility of McKinstry would be a very solid haul.

I really hope LSU is putting the press on him

no date set for johnson’s commitment but after Grimes committed to UNC, koolaid posted a photo of the 3 of them and said congrats to grimes and that “i heard isaiah is committing next”

I think Nebraska has been the favorite for Fidone the whole time. We have surged at least to second place. Never during the course of his recruitment did I believe us to be leading. I think some people on here are a little overly optimistic because we just pulled Gilbert at the TE position last year.

1 of 3 warm for him on 247. only rivals prediction for him is LSU and it’s from late April i believe. says he has a good relationship with Raymond and he can’t stop talking about LSU. you can also see some hints on his social media

LE does he take it as a CB? Seems he wants to be a WR

Not sure. He has CB offers from uga & Oklahoma already. Seems like something he will have to strongly consider

I heard some positive comments about inside LB Greg Penn and LSU. Keep an eye on that situation.

If signing day was today he would 100% be LSU.

Pelini has him on the hook and plenty of time to reel him in
