This what I got

Edit: CB’s coming in for Wiggins to the Tigers

#12 overall OT Tristan Leigh
#20 overall DT Maason Smith
#37 overall OLB Raesjon Davis
#39 overall S/CB Sage Ryan
#61 overall WR Brian Thomas Jr
#66 overall WR Chris Hilton
#74 overall WR Jo Jo Earle
#80 overall OT Garrett Dellinger
#85 overall WR Dion Smith
#103 overall WDE Landon Jackson
#108 overall QB Garrett Nussmeier
#121 overall CB Nathaniel Wiggins
#159 overall RB Corey Kiner
#183 overall ILB Greg Penn
#195 overall WDE Naquan Brown
#204 overall OLB Zavier Carter
#239 overall WDE Keanu Koht
#245 overall WDE Savion Jones
#341 overall S Khari Gee
#570 overall DT Anthony Hundley
#N/A overall P Peyton Todd

That’s 21 commits assuming the 5 in bold are in the fold that leaves 5 potential spots with many elite recruits on the board

Who’s left??

#1 overall SDE Korey Foreman
#23 overall CB Ga’Quincy McKinstry
#84 overall S Corey Collier
#91 overall TE Thomas Fidone
#135 overall SDE Bryce Langston
#154 overall TE Michael Trigg
#209 overall OG Dietrick Pennington
#364 overall S Jardin Gilbert
#428 overall OT Diego Pounds

With just 5 spots left we may need another corner (looking like we all out for McKinstry), a safety (looking like Collier), and both OL (Pennington and Pounds) on this particular board as well as a TE (Fidone/Trigg) and we’ve been hearing a lot of smoke about Prince Kollie so maybe he takes the last spot Coach O mentioned recently wanting more linebackers

Maybe a second corner or second safety (depending on how they use Ryan) or maybe it’s for Korey Foreman or another surprise commitment. Maybe we save it for next year or use it for the transfer portal

Also if Bryce Langston wants in you reshuffle the DL and maybe have to drop somebody

Fact is that this class is so amazing that we have this many elite commits and so many more on the board and plenty of options for the coaches Coach O building a dynasty y’all...Ships Coming!!

I agree with the majority of your op.

My prediction for the class finish is:

Assuming we get the guys you have in bold and don't loose any of the wr commits.

1. SDE but could possibly be a DT - Langston.

2. CB - I. Johnson

3. CB - N. Wiggins

4. Interior OL - not sure who. Assume that Pennington will be one. Still holding out hope for Spindler.

5. Interior OL - not sure who

6. TE - Trigg or Fidone. I would love to take both and fix the numbers somewhere else.

I say if Langston wants in Hundley likely gets dropped. I also think right now we're after Koolaid, Isiah, Wiggins, and apparently Jason Marshall. Also dont forget about Derrick Davis Jr, quite possibly could be a smaller version of Laron Landry.

I have a list of a handful of realistic things that, if we can accomplish, I will put this down as maybe my favorite LSU class ever. These things are:

(1) to lock in all 3 remaining in-state targets (Smith/ryan/Thomas);

(2) to grab one of Tristan Leigh or Korey foreman (id personally prefer Leigh, given our positional needs);

(3) grab 2 more DB including at *least* one of Isaiah johnson/Nate Wiggins/ga’quincy McKinstry (ideally both, but if not, it’d be nice to add one more DB); and

(4) add a decent interior OL

If we do all these things, this class will be almost comically well-rounded.

To recap, that finish would be:
Tristan Leigh
Maason Smith
Sage Ryan
Brian Thomas
Isaiah Johnson
Nate Wiggins
Interior OL (Diego pounds? Owen prentice?)

I think that’s legitimately realistic. It would put us at 23 commits—so we’d have room to add 2 more random booms (Fidone? Langston?) and a guy from the transfer portal. In an ideal world I’d also like another DT, but I’m not too worried about that given our DT class from last year plus maason.

This would put us in the 305-310 range, definitely top 5 and likely #2 overall

Two IOL are likely two of the spots just dunno who. I'd say Foreman but I think right now he's USC's to lose because now they get to play just the Pac-12. So realistically they might have 1 loss. And with visits becoming less and less likely I just don't think it dont think it will happen on a count of that. Also they won't stomped by Bama week 1.

Lol Hundley isn’t getting dropped. Kid is so underrated. If he were to have a season this year he would go up to a 4 star

Anthony Cook is in the transfer portal. Has 2 years left, safety problem solved. Was high on Tigers before staying home and playing for the shorthorns.

It would be a drop from the same position, maybe a guy like Carter would be on the outs.

Good post.

We should take a minimum of 4 OL every year, so hoping for 3 more. We are loading up on pass rushers, so it may come at the expense of TE and taking only 1 RB.

Love this class so far.

I agree getting Leigh and having Dellinger on board at OT and hopefully we can get Pennington at OG and Pounds who is listed as OT but I think seems more of a road grader type so he has the potential to move inside as well depending on how they need to shuffle them

How do you see our DB haul ending up. I know you mentioned Wiggins a while ago but do you think we have a chance with nyland green?

Don't think anyone really knows how all of it is gonna work out. Our past tells us that there is no use stressing it because we always sign short after all the mind boggling we do trying to figure it out.

My personal opinion is that the staff is forward thinking. Knowing this particular cycle is unlike any other and that it's likely to get insane towards the end, there loading up with kids they are willing to take and will choose, hold on and lose kids as the insanity ensues later. If and when visits are back on expect tons of movement in everyone's classes.
